Switching up nutes

I've been using hydroponics research's veg&bloom for several years now in my soiless grows with good results but am considering switching. Been looking at Canna products and General organics. Anybody have experience with either in peat based mixes?

Nope, sorry, I avoid canna specific nute brands like the plague

I grow in peat using Jack's Citrus for veg and Aquagold for flower with awesome results

Why? Organic, micro nutes, very hard to overdose, a lot cheaper then Fox Farm what's your issue?

No issue, rather pay for high quality salts than for water and pretty pictures on the bottle

Jack Peters is one of the best known names there is in the fert industry
I can't comment on Jacks but I know for sure Canna veg and Canna flora is spot on.

Is salts for just hydro? (I'm gonna stop asking dumb questions and just look into it :dunce:)

Jack Peters was the head nute designer for Scotts for many years and they still own his name on their JR Peters line, when he left he started the Jack's line

They are high quality dry salts and are very inexpensive my 25 lb bag of Aquagold was less than $40 shipped, for how I grow it is a 5+ year supply

What's your watering/feeding schedule like? Reason I ask is I don't hear from many soiless growers and have always wondered if I was doing it right. Right now I grow out of 5 gallon smart pots and just feed/water like every 2 or 3 days once she's well established. I'd like to do a drain to waste type setup with a res in the future.

Right on. I've only recently moved away from expensive nutes and are using some stuff local guys have made and have tried and tested it for 25 years. Costs like $50 that would last years and it seems to work really well.

The plant I pictured is bout 3 feet tall in a 1/2 gallon pot So I prolly water more often than you. I do have drain to waste setup, but I hand water. Never on a schedule, but when they need it and yes I'm that guy that mixes up different feed for different plants

The Peter's Classic stuff is super easy to use. But I'm not sure it's adequate for hydroponics. They do make a hyroponic specific mix, and a calcium supplement that balances it out. But I can say that it is fan-flippingtastic in soil. I use it in my vegetable garden with a hose end sprayer.

For hydro I would recommend going with Dynagro.
