switching lights???

i jus started flowerin on dec.1st... and im usin jus cfls.. at the end of this month i should have my HPS setup.. so my question is if i change from cfls to hps in the middle of flowering does that mess anythin up??? and will it still increase my yield and potency???

It will only make things better. Just make sure that you keep it far enough away from the canopy if it's 250 watts or more. That's the only thing that could hurt by making the switch is the heat. I'm using a 150w and the leaves are almost touching the light and it's all good. Check my journal out. Give your girls a gift this holiday. Brighten their lives up with a nice HPS.

16/18 inches away - 400watt
24 inches - 600 and up.

won't mess anything up, 12 inches is = sunlight light level for 400 watt HPS.
it will only increase your yield (BIGTIME !), potency some believe can be increased with MH light in the last few weeks of flowering because they emit a bit of UV light.
