Switching Lights, From 400W HPS to T5 HO Fluorescent?

I asked this question as part of another post, but it may have been overlooked.

Would there be any danger to my plants if I switch my lights from a 400w HPS to a 4 bulb T5 fluro with the warm flowering bulbs?
I am one week into flowering and I'm already tired and don't have the time to fight the heat I'm getting....and can't control from the HPS. I'm aware of what's said about flowering with T5's, lower yields, light and airy buds, etc., but it's for my own personal use and my first attempt at growing and I don't want to hurt my 3 plants either from heat or switching light sources. I can't find info about switching after you've already started flowering with HPS.

you wont see the difference from going to hps to T5 but it is significant. Its worth staying with the HPS just for the difference in yield and overall productivity.

I'd love to keep the HPS going, but the layout of my grow closet just won't allow for enough air exchange to keep the HPS cool enough. I'll be better prepared on my next grow and they'll get the HPS. Thanks for the in-put guys.

How hot is it getting in your grow spot? I have a walk in closet grow and running 4 150 set-ups gets up to 85. Then when the lights are off it goes down to 70 and I have no issues at all. I would perfer to b at 80 during day and 70 at night maybe even a slight lower to simulate fall but doing good. Some strains can handle high heat better than others .I would stay with the hps get another fan and have it blowing over the top of the plants not on the plants but. Inbetween the tops and the lights.
