Switching from 24 to 12/12 back to 24

Is it possible to switch my lighting cycle from 24 to 12/12 until the plants are sexed and then switch back to 24 to allow for longer vegetative growth?

Wouldnt recommend it at all brother. Just take afew clones off the plant wait till they get roots, n throw them into 12/12 that way they will show the sex. Then u'll know . Just throw one clone into 12/12 tho so the rest can grow if it is female.
