Will gradually moving flowering plants from 7-7 to 4-4 freak 'em out?

during veg you want a light schedual of 24/0 or 18/6 ither way. and for flower you want 12/12.

7-7 and 4-4 freaks me out.

I have them going from 7am-7pm, I want them to go from 4-4 in like a week or so.

WIll a gradual time move freak 'em out?

No, they'll be fine. I wouldn't even make it gradual, seems like too much work. If you do it all in one day they will just have one night where they will receive 9 hours of darkness as opposed to 12, as long as you resume 12/12 they won't even be phased by it.

Don't know if I ever want less than 10 darkness at this point.

if at any time your in flower and the lights shut down for some reason or you want to change timeon and off its best to leave the lights off till the desired time on as long as the light has been off for 12hrs or more. this will not freak your plant.

shorter days longer nights, 7 to 6, 6 to 5, 5 to 4, 4 to 4, thats like 3 days? sounds pretty easy.
