Sweet Tooth 2010

I got my hands on some Sweet Tooth seeds and started 3 this year. 1 ended up being a male and actually polinated my ladies before I could kill it. >_< Actually, it was a dumb move on my part. The root system was so intense, I couldn't just pull him up. I cut him down low but there was still one of those pathetic bottom limbs hang'n out. I stopped paying attention to it until I realized what I let happen. =( The ladies have had a few seeds develop but I've been picking them off with tweezers as they come. ^^ (Does anyone know if that's effective or will the plant just keep making more?)

I planted in early May this year and these are current pics. As a first time grow, I experiemented with clipping one and not the other. I split one at two different points in the veg stage to give me 3 tops. This one smells slightly stronger and the buds are all small and line the plant. They started flowering about 2-3 weeks ago.

The other plant that has had no cuts became so tall I had to bend it over. The buds are way bigger. The problem with this plant is many of the leaves are starting to turn yellow and die off, one at a time. One picture shows this before I cleaned her up today. Is this normal? I'm guessing it has to do with the flowering stage? The other plant doesn't really have this problem. All of her leaves are dark green.

As for soil mix, I used bone meal and blood meal mixed with top soil. I've also been adding a little advanced nutrients from my hydro set up into their breakfast water every other day. I couldn't find any information on if that's effective or not and didn't want to burn my plants. So far, no bad reaction.

Does anyone know if this is all going pretty normal or is there anything I need to correct now to save or increase my yeild? Will these buds fill out even more by week 8-10?

You know it. If this is good bud, I'll be prepared. lol Over 20 colas on the girl with the yellow leaf. My biggest problem is the sativa in this thing. I can't keep her under the fence line! lol I've got to go with a shorter strain next time. Does anyone know if White Widow will do nicely outside? That's pretty short, isn't it?
