Sweet Seeds S.A.D. No Go

Heard some great things about this strain from the bag appeal to the smell to the high. Bought a few. Grew them out, had minor issues keeping it healthy during veg. Switched to flower and this thing WILL NOT STAY healthy. All the buds are stunted and all the leaves are a nice healthy green. Plant shows classic signs of over-watering. Leave hooking down, leaves curling down at the edges. So I let it dry out completely. That didn't help at all. So I flushed it real good, let it dry out again. Then gave a 900ppm regular vegatative feeding and still won't correct itself. This strain sucks. Meanwhile my Pineapple Express, Killing Fields, Chocolate Rain, Vortex, and Chenryobl are kicking ass with the same regiment. FUCK YOU SWEEET AFGHANI DELICIOUS!

Update. Today I finally noticed RAPID yellowing of the lower leaves from the tips in. A couple of leaves went 25% yellow in basically 24 hours. Sigh.

Been obsessing over this plant because it detiorated so quickly. Fed just enough water to get run off tonight, immediately saw about 1000 microscopic bugs in the run off. I mean TINYYYYYYYYYYYYYY barely visible to the eye. Only way you can tell they are bugs is they occasionally shoot across the water or in the water. Too small to tell of they are floating or suspended. Just watered the plant with Azamax. Probably kill the plant but I hate bugs. They aren't fungus gnats because they seem to be at the bottom of the pot and there is NOTHING flying around.

I think i've had the same bug infestation before, thier little white fuckers you can barely see that almost look like dust or something. I only noticed they were actualy bugs cuz like you said they dart across the run off when you water.

I think they come from the soil it self particurely fox farm ocean forest, i use sunshine mix #4 or pure coco to grow in but sometimes i put clones in one gallon pots of real soil before transplanting to larger pots for flowering in (i find they seem to like it and you don't have to feed em for a while) and i use roots soil but a couple times they were out of roots so i got fox farm ocean forest. Both times i got the fox farms i seemed to get those things.

I don't know maybe it's just a coincidence but i quit using the FFOF and haven't seen em since i quit using it.

if those bugs are jumpers... they could be springtails.

basically harmless.

still, i hate bugs & agree azmax is great.

Everything I've read points to them being Springtails except the damage my plant is incurring. Sucks when bugs are too small to indentify.

Funny you say that cuz that's what i found, that they were basically harmless but like you said i hate bugs too!

One time i was going on vacation and was gonna have my nextdoor neighbor (he's an old stoner from way back he's in his mid 70's....lol) water my plants while i was gone, anyway i was showing him how to mix the nutes and water and i notced i had those damn things again. I was on my way to the airport and didn't have any Azamax or anything or time to get any before i left. So i just put the clones outside and hoped for the best.

I got home two weeks later and found the clones still had the bugs but that they hadn't seemed to do any harm.
