I don't know what they are called exactly, you can find them outside by the fencing, they are pre-cut and wrapped in plastic. Regardless you can find something similar and usable if not exactly the same.

this will prolly sound dumb, but is the reason you use the screen so that you dont have to tie branches right?
yeah. It's another method of low stress training. Helps even out a canopy of multiple plants and promote even budding. Works in much the same way as tying branches but easier with more plants.

Beautiful plants matman. I like how the screen helped you even out the canopy and it stayed pretty even after that.

Great work and thanks for sharing your experience.

So I took the screen off of my plants.
Since I upgraded to the 400w hps light I figure it has better penetration than the 250 so I wanted to get some more light to the lower buds.
I think I created a great idea here because having the screen up to this point has created a lot of nice bud sites on the plants, and has kept a nice even canopy.
Now removing it the plants are still about the same height, but now the light can penetrate down to the lower buds easier without the screen blocking it out.

Check out this lusciousness

I knew you would eventually take it down.

looks good to me, how'd those clones you took turn out? Did you use any sort of rooting aid or just throw em in the grodan cubes? I ask cause I took my first clones a couple days ago and they are still doin well but I feel like clones can be a little deceptive

Lol the clones I took sucked bad. I had some rootech gel but barely any left I probably only got the bottom half centimeter of the stems in the gel. Anyways, I think because of that and cold temps, and lack of interest they took forever to root. After 3 weeks they were just barely starting to root. I threw them out since I didn't have any use for them anyways.

Yeah the screen worked great. I know people that use that method talk about how it really helps to increase the gram/watt ratio, and that's really what I'm trying to do since I have a small grow space and relatively small light.

If I can pull a half gram/watt off the 400w light I would be ecstatic, but I'm thinking its going to be quite a bit lower than that, maybe 1/3gram per watt or something?
Cuz I'm thinking maybe around a qp
It's hard to tell.
