Surprise!

My ex of nine years called me three weeks ago on a Sunday. She says

“I had a baby yesterday, I didn’t know I was pregnant. It might be yours.”

Turns out, i am the father.

I know y’all have questions, mainly about the whole “didn’t know I was pregnant”.

She’s not lying, she smoked and drank during the pregnancy, and I KNOW she wouldn’t have, had she known she was expecting. We were together nine years...I’m sure about that.

I mean, I have questions too, but the DNA results came in about 25 minutes ago.

Maybe some sort of crazy unconscious denial? I don’t know. I really don’t know how it’s possible. It’s unfathomable.

Soooo. Yeah. That’s my life right now. Thank goodness I have a reliable car for work now. Thanks again for that, y’all.

What playoffs? Not a big sports fan...we talking about hockey?

I thought I was talking about surprise newborns...lol

Either way, I have very little knowledge about both subjects

I figure I have about a year to get my shit together before she starts remembering anything.

I guess the plan is to bond with her as much as possible until then, and get ready for the next...forever I guess...lol
