ok so back on 06/26/2009 i suppercropped for first time to conserve space as they were growing quickly :hump: 07/07/2009 i had to LST for the first time as after supercropping the new tops were growing even faster! so here are the pictures...whatcha think guys?

1st: right after supercropping 06/26/2009
2nd: before LST...the light is at 4foot mark.
3rd: 1st plant LST 07/07/2009
4th: close up of LST
5th: 2nd plant gets tied
6th: put back in and as you see i gained at least 10"!

this morning the tops were already facing upwards:hump:

hey SirBud! I am growing a monster shiskaberry that is just finishing up. It was getting way to tall for my space so at about the 5th node from the top I just snaped it over about 3 weeks into flowering. Then I supported the broken top with a rod and tied it. Now I have about 7 or 8 Top colas and the 2nd and 3rd level buds are much larger. I am going to do this with all my girls. So much less work than the last sog I did but with as much or even more yield.

lower the light next time you tie them down, they seem to be just stretching for that cfl. other then that they look happy and healthy, nice work.

Unfortunately you waited way to long to start training. It's still good that your trying new techniques.
no way! never to late or long.....i want three foot plants and my timing is only a week or two off at most....these are two moms that i grew up, cloned off them and now ready for flower just no room at the moment. IF i had trained them early on i think my clones would be harder to get out...BUT i hear what your saying...my space is NOT as constricting as others

Looks good. I wouldn't wait to flower. Why not switch to 12/12 now and then lollipop (trim the lower growth off so they force more top growth/buds) in 2 weeks.

I agree with GC, those are ready to start 12/12. Just trim the lower bud sites or get supplementary lighting or else you'll have nice tops and mediocre budding on the sides of the plant.

i agree however i do not have room...i mean i could shove it in there and crowd them a bit? would 7-10days of overcrowding hurt my yield? i have 4-flowering now and one should be on its way out in next 7-10days....at which time i move these in.

what do you think?

a week is not a bad wait too keep training and vegging. Space permitting fit them in the room, why wait any longer if there is some room?

i am worried about stealing light from the other four girls:mrgreen: IDK really i tried getting a perpetual grow going BUT i cant figure our the timing:roll: right now i have 4-plants all 2-weeks ahead of one another....so i have one plant harvest coming up every two weeks.

i did not look at the grow journal....how old are they? you can LST @ anytime. Topping should be applied when they are a few weeks old or 5-7 nodes high
