I gave up on being fancy and gentle and all that lot with supercropping. Now I just snap the stem and let it do it's thing, no problems whatsoever :D

lotus - the whole plant, you may also want to experiment with an oddly shaped horizontal growin plant like i am right now, it isnt hard you just tie the plant down in whatever pattern you want it to grow (mines going to be a spiral) you may want to go with a "u" shape if you do decide to venture down that road (bamboo type stuff ya no) it also gives you something to do because you have to reset it every other day or so. its interesting, the way it grows, but its up to you if you want to do that

mike - wut?

beaver man - wow... now thats a bush, lotus you also may want to do some crimping to slow vertical growth (i do it and ive got a bush comin in)

thats my lil bush bout 9inches tall, all i do is bend and crimp it and its working pretty well (highly recommended and its good for space)

drekshishblahblahshlemington - good luck in all of your future endeavors!

T3 - thank you for the motorcycle and the clothes, to each their own, i guess you have your mission objectives and cant take your time when you have to protect that lil bastard. i hope you can also make weed legal in the future

... sorry i went on the terminator rant guys

is this what you mean? Do i tie down the side branches to the same wire. this is my first grow, and i only trained roses and fruit bushes with my parents when i was younger, and we used frames to do this. Please help/advise!!

whoa dude, youve got that thing all rapped up... i mean im really stoned right now so its prob not as bad as it looks to me atm... my advise is to poke a hole in thaAT PLAstic and just loop a piece of that string through and over the branch and pull it down until u got about a 90 degree angle on that plant aand tie a slip knot so it can be easily adjusted

I like to use picture frame hanging wire. It's better then twine. It will allow you to continue to adjust as it grows. Plus you can reuse it for your next grows. In one of your pic's I noticed the one of the branches is crimped. If you look at the photo's I posted, they would be 12" in height but with "lst" they were only inches in height. You'll learn in good time bro! Start "lst" the moment you can you'll run less of the risk of breaking stuff.

Also you got plastic pots! I'm a big fan of them, reason being is I can heat up the wire and run it through the pot. Bend one end of the wire down the pot and the other end wrap it around the plant. I do the same thing with the 5 gallon buckets! It works great!

If your new to the whole lst, bending and crimping stuff. I'd say try the lst method first, it's more forgiving rather then crimping. You pinch it to much your f'd!

GREAT THREAD!
PLUS REP BRO!

And just to point out, LST etc are not forms of supercroppig, they are forms of training, supercropping is just another form of training.
