Supercropping and Canopy Control

Both look great but your PPP with 6 days in is going to have tons of bud sites and should yield you some nice bud. Keep up the great work.

Billcollector99 either started them from seed 12/12 or maybe a week of veg. I just took one for flowering that he gave me. Very nice strain, can't wait to sample it. He has a mom vegging. Genetics on the R.Ed Kush is Mother White OGK Father OGK x Lemon Chem Dawg. The genetics seem strong and stable so far, only had a mildew issue but after I treated her she has been fine since. It was another plant that gave her the mildew. I wanted to harvest her on 4/20 but I think she will be done before that. You can see pics in my journal, the 2nd grow.

I moved my clones to their pots (5gal warrior pots) 3 days ago. Is it too early to start this method?

How old / tall are they currently? I would be inclined to say that if you moved them to a container of that size they should be fine to train but if they are thin branched or a sativa pheno be gentle with them. Be very careful super cropping until you get a good feel for it and you won't worry much after awhile.

Ok well I did it and I think they're ok. Nothing broke off so I'm guessing that is a good sign haha
There are 4 lemon skunk, 4 master kush and 4 cheese. The LS are the tallest at 11" and the rest are all around 7-8".

For matatan - Pay no attention to the small veggers' health, I intentionally starve them a bit in this box and let them root bind to slow their growth until I am ready to veg them. Pic one is a small stretched out bubblegum seedling, just transplanted into some fresh super soil to initiate veg, notice where I supercropped it at the base of the main stem.I'm not holding it down in the pic just pulling the leaves out of the way to reveal the stem. I supercropped her about 3 days ago. I will often take a paper clip and secure the top down into the soil to keep it low, it works pretty well.

Pic 2 is a majorly stretched Northern Lights female, she's been super cropped for about a week now under 4 t5's. I didn't go as low on this one because she was a bit rigid since I waited too long. Ideally I would do it earlier but I was going to try the hobbes transplant on this one initially.

Pic 3 is an AK47 clone that I am showing you before and after pics of. She just transplanted about 3 days ago into super soil and she's taking off. I'm supercropping her early!

Pic 5 is a flowering Ice plant 33 days in, transitioned from super crop to LST, stem shot, pic 6 is a pic of her canopy. If you look closely at the stem you can see a paperclip grown into her beefy base lol. That is from bending her over when she was a wee wittle wady. You will also notice how she is supercropped pretty hard just up from that.

Nice plant ,Been supercroping for years now and along with topping I get big score of buds every time!!DSCF1201.jpgDSCF1179.jpg
Matatan, doing that wont help!..it probly wont do much, but stunt grow of that branch,in my time of super cropping i have found that cropping work mostly on topps at top of canoppy The idea is to pinch top bud sites to to make lowwer branching grow to reach canopy top.The top that is pinched with stop growing for like a week and th lowwer branch's catch up.If you pinch a lower branch it MIGHT make other smaller branch's on that cola grow a little, but spindley, and now that cola or branch you pinch will never catch up to the top of canopy with the others..!?? hope that made cents!lol

Not a fan of topping at all.... Decided to try supercropping with some LST this round and the two plants I did it on are astounding compared to the others.

First 4 pics are the two plant I am talking about and last 2 are some of the others.

I'm one week into flowering now and I'm hoping for three ounces off of each of these two but I've never pulled more then and ounce a plant...

at what point, how many weeks/days into flower do you stop supercropping? or what do you look for in the flower development to say ok, no more supercropping.

Opinions will vary on that one, I personally don't do it for the most part during flower. I'm flowering a Super Silver Haze and her stretch is ridiculous though, and I did crop her in a couple spots. I try to stick to a lower stress training method in flower. I'm sure someone else can offer their experience with cropping during flower, I prefer to use other methods, but the other methods work so well because the plants have already been prepared by super cropping in veg.
