Super Skunk. Still the easiest to grow indoor?

Hello
I am getting back to growing indoors after a 10 year hiatus.

I was planning to grow Super Skunk and Big Bud but I would like to hear other ideas as well.

From past experience I have grown many strains but never seen one that is so easy to grown, yields a lot and hits like a truck as the good old Super Skunk.

I was wondering if things have changed and if there were any better indoor strains these days?

If i were you, getting ready for a new setup, two words. Big Bud. The hybrids can be plenty potent with whopping harvests. I selectively breed bag seed, but if I were to purchase seeds that would be a top choice of mine without a doubt. I would be very interested to see such heavy yields.

Well, growing superskunk seemed pretty easy to me, this year being the first time I've grown it. I did notice that it's very nute-sensitive early on and likes a very "cool" soil (I started mine in a 40/40/20 mix of seed starter, MG Organic, and perlite, and they just loved it).

You're right about the "hits like a truck" -- love that shit.

Here's a couple pic's of a pair I've got going in a 12/12-from-seed grow, now 52 days from seed to soil (my first set were male, so I just popped some more beans after switching.. they're really doing well under this regime).

I've never grown Big Bud. As for other strains, I'm growing Nirvana Bubblelicious this year too, and that's been a real easy plant to grow - pretty insensitive to grower mistakes; likes a lot of feed, though.

Good question; I've never run anything 12/12 from seed. I only did it here cuz I was gonna get some superskunk out of this grow come hell or high water. I just have the one light and room, so I had to plug em in in the middle.

They're at 52 days, with say, another 5-6 weeks to go? So, about 12-14 weeks. I may save 2-3 weeks from seed to harvest, but there will be a yield cost for sure. Not that I care really... the yield off those two plants will more than carry me to the next grow. And I actually like the smaller plants, too -- I may do an all-12/12 run next time with several feminized sativa-dom strains (word is.. sativas do best under 12/12 from seed, since it mimics the tropical light cycle sativas evolved with).

I'm pretty sure it's a 9-11 week strain (which means 12 in reality), but I haven't checked in awhile. I figure she's ready when she's ready.

i grew superskunk on my first grow and i was growing hydro lol its piss easy to grow but has a painfully long flowering time "3months" !!!! i would go for big bud which is 8 weeks"2 months" or its hybrid critical mass which is bigbud x something .. its ment to yeild alot more

no buddy its a sativa it will take u about 12 weeks , it had taken me 14 weeks but i fucked about with the grow... if u want 8 week flowering time grab an indica plant like big bud or top 44
I thought Super Skunk was Skunk #1 (indica dominant) x Afghani #1 (pure indica). So wouldn't it be Indica dominant? Plus Skunk Mag said it was Indica dominant too.
