Super Silver Haze 4 weeks flowering

So I'm doing a small practice grow of super silver haze. This is my first grow and she's been flowering for four weeks now. She has lots of trichomes all over her, but not a lot of pistils developing. I am only concerned about this because when I look at pics of other grows, there are usually tons of pistils. Is this something I should worry about? Does it mean anything?

Also...what do you think for my first time? Any advice is appreciated. :):leaf:

Hmm that is interesting. Yes at 4 weeks the buds should be a little bigger. My flo is 22 days and are just a little bigger than yours. You have more trichs tho. What is the temp in your room?

Overall, the plant appears healthy, but I see some things that make me think your plant is getting light from a local source, like a street light or porch lights. It doesn't take much to slow budding or reverse, or even prevent it.

Take a very hard look at your plant's environment.

The growth pattern seems odd to me.

More pix, please!

I'm growing outdoors, but temps range from 65-85 degrees.

Now that you say that I think that that could be the problem. The street lights are far enough away, but the plant is growing on my porch. I never turn the porch light on, but the light from my room sometimes seeps out through the door on to my plant if I forget to close the shades. From now on I will be sure that the shades are always closed so that no unnecessary leaks occur. Other than that it is just the occasional moonlight. Is it too late for my plant to get bigger, better buds?? Also, what do you mean by the growth pattern looking odd?

It is difficult to describe, because the changes are subtle.

In the third pic, there are a number of single bladed leaves that have fewer trichomes and appear a slightly lighter shade of green.

They are a sign of revegging, which can occur when your plants is getting "light poisoning".

It won't kill the plant, but will mess with bud formation.

Once the light problem is solved, the buds will develop, but may appear a bit "stretched".

It will still be the best weed you've ever had. ;)

i agree 100% the single blades give it away, it started to reveg

yea I think so too. it looks nothing like my SSH cut at all! It does look like it's revegging.

Ok so, I am working on fixing the light leaks. Once this is done, it will still give me pretty decent buds?? I'm open to disappointment because this is my first grow, but it would be nice...

Do you know how long it takes for the plant to stop revegging?

Thanks for all the help everyone!

Yeah it should bounce back in the coming weeks if the light issue is solved. Hang in there especially if it's in early flower. For every grow from this point you will always remember to make sure it's completely dark at night :p live and learn

Yeah like everyone else said it looks to be reveging I'm growing ssh as well about 18 days into flowering and its definitely throwing out a bunch of pistols and trichs ..maybe cutting back on nitrogen and giving more p-k will help it revert to full bloom

You'll get nice buds. Maybe just a bit leafy.

Those burned and curled tips may also be indicative of over nutes or ph is off?.. did same to one of my potted plants, but didnt effect quantity pistles. Good stuff tho.. amazing how a lil light will put the brakes on or put in reverse... love this forum.

It was a little nute burn, but she is in the process of recovering from that...I hardly feed her any, but she seems to be very sensitive to them. The pH is perfect.
