Super Lemon Haze Question

Hey guys. I have 2 SLH plants I got as clones. They definitely look like two different phenos, the guy I got them from said he had two, I asked for just one, but I'm pretty sure he gave me two different ones. One grows like a crazy unmanageable bush with narrow leaves, while the other grows with a classic branch structure and has slightly wider leaves, it wants to shoot straight up with nice side branching.

Have you guys that have been growing it noticed anything SLH likes/dislikes? I ask because I have some other strains in the room, and the SLH just doesn't have the nice healthy looking luster as the rest of my plants.

I'd post pics but I'm going to only post pics when I really need some help with a problem.. So far they still look good, just not as healthy as my others.. A little leaf curl under on the sides but no discoloration.

Any advice for a new SLH grower? Water at 6.4 ph in promix sound okay? They like a little less or a little more nutes? Seems like they might like a little less nutes to me, but I'm still trying to get the feel for em'.

i only have my one SLH plant I selected out of five. I noticed SLH is not a heavy feeder, easily susceptible to nutrient burn.

other than that there isn't much out of the ordinary. As far as PH goes, I grow in soil and keep a static PH level of 6 for all plants, seems to work out fine for me.

I also have 2 diffrent phenotype Super Lemon Haze in week 4 of flower that were started from seed. One grows like a crazy unmanagable bush with skinny leaves and the other grows like a beautiful beast just nice hug sativa dominant leaves over 6 foot. She got so big so fast in the DWC sport cooler that I had to put fishing weights with strings to bend down the branches. I also get leaf curls. as for PH I grow DWC hydro and my PH is at 5.8 -6.0

As said before they easily can get nute burn so if you already see some curlings leaves then take it easy with the nutes. Other than that my experience is that they do tend to grow a little unique, plant to plant, but not that much to make it look like two different strains. They like really high humidity in veg and low in flower, like most plants i guess.

Just finished growing 4 indoors. Don't worry about the leaf curl. Three of my four had it while the fourth did not. It's just a pheno thing. Light on the nutes I guess, but mine never showed any signs of much distress and I fed them well enough.

And they will grow different enough to look like two different strains. The difference between my sativa-dom and indica-dom plants were very noticeable in many areas (bud formation, node spacing, flowering time, finishing time etc).

Is the high different with the two phenos? I've got a 5 pack of these in my seed stash, but won't get a chance to run them for a while.

The type of high is the same across the phenos, but the potency of the high is different (much stronger in the sativa phenos).

Insane a must topper pics below. I toped one time then went into flower I got 8 monster colas. I gave one of my mothers to a friend who topped it again after 3 more weeks of veg and got 10 monsters and about 8 off shoots that seemed to be stunted. I have grown 10 of these plant from seed from green house and all 10 have come up female and sativa.

the SLH stretched for me i was trying to be nice and let her go but after four feet i just had to top otherwise the pruning would just be insanity. gorgeous plant that loves to grow. as far as i know there are two phenos for sure, one really tall and the more displays more indica traits. has anyone seen any others?

I have both pheno.s

Sativa pheno with long branches and lots of stretch. Long spaces between buds. THis plant was topped at the start of 12/12. The weight of the buds are pulling down the branches.

Indica pheno. Short branches and buds all the way up the stem.

I've been busy and am just getting a chance to read the responses... Sounds like we have the same phenos (maybe there are only two IDK) I've been planning to take some clones of the one we both agree is the big beautiful beast pheno :) but it seems like it's curling under the intensity of the light a bit. I Switched from a 600 to a 1000, the other plants exploded, while that large SLH doesn't seem to like it, I may put it under a 600 again and see if the leaf curl goes away.

I'd have to agree, about the lighter nutes, on these guys, I had some slight burn on the lower leaves, so I backed off a bit.

I was doing 6.0 ph on all my plants, but I got some sort of lock out I think on a tangerine dream baby plant and started going a little higher on the ph 6.4.. Maybe that's it.. I'll come down to 6.2 next time.

Nice pics Otheryoda! You started flowering yours pretty early looks like, how long did you veg? I already topped mine once when they were about 1.5 feet tall. My sativa pheno has 6 real nice looking stems going after topping it. The indica one is just a crazy bush. I think I'm gonna veg mine another week, top them one more time, veg another week, then repot and switch to 12/12. So my sativa pheno might be 4-5' tall when they're done. Any taller and I'll have to bend em' over :)

Thanks for the input guys!

I did not veg long. only till the plants where about 6 to 8 inches tall. So they grow another 10+ inches after 12/12.
