Super Lemon Haze, OG 18 (F1) LA Confidential and Romulan x CottonCandy Tent Grow 650W

Hello friends. This will be my first recorded grow in my little hippy home. I will be growing a plethora of different genetics (like always) because it's fun to mix it up and challenge ourselves. So here's what I am working with: 3 foot wide, 4 foot deep, 7 foot tall reflective tent 400 w MH/HPS t5 panel (the one with 4 x 24) 150 HPS (Some people say don't mix your light freq's but I've been doing alright with my gangbang method!) 5 plants are in Organic #4 (3 Super Lemon Haze, 2 OG18 ) 2 plants are in DWC with a top drip system. (LA + RxCC) I have a sweet homemade co2 system (a gallon jug, some champagne yeast, sugar and a oxygen feedIn hindsight I realize I should have started this at the beginning of the grow, but this is the current status of my little girls:- SLH is about a month old, they are all pretty hefty, and thus have been SCROGd. I'm really excited about this one, the strain has been in the family for quite a few years now and still going strong. I just recently weaved these puppies so they are a little beat up, but hey, still lookin purdy. - The OG Kush # 18 is about 2.5 weeks along, and looking rad. Very short, but thick and stocky with a pungent piney lemon smell. I'm excited to pot them into something a little bigger and watch them explode! I plan on minimally screening these two. - The Two hydros are about 2.5 weeks old as well, and brought me a good amount of trouble in the beginning. Some space age technologies I just cannot imagine, and these two lived out of 5. Looking good though, thick and supercropped to be little bonzais. If these make it all the way I will be extremely pleased, but if not it's all good. -If anyone lives in the Seattle Area, this is the LA that took the DOPE cannabis cup this last round, from your homies at CCC-My Co2 Generator make two things; -Prison wine, well champagne. -TONS of C02, the constant air feed it awesome and I have run the cap tube to above the canopy of the scrog, I think this should be beneficial!I think thats about it! I wanted to share what I'm doing with the rest of the community, so if you have any input of past experiences with any of these strains or set ups, let me know! We love to learn.Until then, stay smokey my brothers and sisters-TWON(P.s Pics will be up this evening)

good luck with the grow! It's not a bad thing to have cup-winning clones ;)champagne yeast (EC1118?) will comfortably ferment up to 14% abv. however, it doesn't do well with pure sugar - it will stall. throw in a box of frozen fruit concentrate, and molasses, to feed the yeast. straight sugar will also cause the yeast to cannabalize, and makes rancid flavours. I use EC1118 to make rum, and i pH to 4.5. some turbo yeasts work to 20% abv, but finish within a few days. molasses is a slow fermenter. I've read that red star makes a better champagne yeast than lalvin. I may have to make lots of rum when I start my med grow :)

I always wished I was a pirate so people would stop looking at me funny when I try to commandeer their land yachts... Sounds like you're closer to one then I!Thanks for the tip on yeast, I have been using RedStar and it's rad. I'll add some other sugars as well, I could even just spike it with some straight glycol!_ TWON

Thanks cuz! They're going about an inch a day at this point, OG has responded the best to the SCROG, at 3.5 inches growth on one and 2 on the other. Righteous! I'm about to spike nutes so we will see on monday, keep posted

Watch that SLH real close. It loves to Hermie
I will definitely keep an eye on it, thanks! The genetics are tried and true, and I try to keep a real close eye on the photoperiods+temp while they're sleeping. Can never be too careful though... On the plus side I would totally have some sweet new strains in a few generations.

IMG_9334.jpgthis is the SLH canopy, some new growth popping up. These Have finished the veggin' for now
IMG_7664.jpg I pulled this OG from the tent so it could keep on growing... look how twisted it is! Had to cut a loop or two in the scrog but it is happy in its' new home (keep on veggin little buddy!)
IMG_1001.jpgIMG_6484.jpg These last two are some Grapefruit x BC Bud aka GrapeGod.. Fimmed to two stalks and looking real thick! I have one more but it is far less impressive, and I can't let you guys get the wrong impression .... Pulled these out the 1st stage and now they will flower with the 3 SLH's and the 1 OG, putting me at 7 plants in 9 sq feet! Wahoo for efficiency!

Also, the two hydros have been moved to continue getting thick and bushy. They are my experimentals, as I am new to DWC and DEFINITELY having a few issues...Anybody have any good tips? They are aerated well in the bases, using a simple cal-mag, nitrogen boost b/c I use R/O for my h20 source.. They just wont go up!

Very nice, how long have your SLH been going from seed?

These come off a year old mother. I generally stay away from seed, unless it is from one person whom I trust. >2 seeds per pound, we throw them all away. 2 or less, they're keepers. Yadada?

Gotcha pulling clones then, nice. I assumed seed, my fault. Are any seedbanks, credible?
