i top at the 4th node, and wait for internodal growth to begin, when it does, i trim the original fan leaves as the new tops reach the same height, and eventually all i was left with was 6 rapidly growing tops, i removed 2 in an attempt to make clones...i failed this go around lol

lol, i put a pad lock on the box today because of my bro.

do to selective trimming i got 14 bud sights under direct light with NO lst, i simply do not do lst, because with the trimming and topping method i use you dont need 2, i have 4 PERFECTLY evenly growing tops, and each of those 4 tops are already starting their own internodal growth.

My box just isnt wide enough to make effective use of lst, especially when if you Bonzai correctly you dont need it xD.

took me an hour to post this because rollitup kept flagging me as "non human" and the capchcas ket telling me i typed them wrong
Oh oky ja if you can get those budistes close to the light without lst then its obviously cool the way you do it! I also topped mine, but just once so I get 2 main budsites with the rest catching up when I lst, like it this way, less hassle haha but do you trim the lateral branches aswell then or just the top? To get the 4 tops to go? Coz I know when you top it at the top budsite 2 new ones come out and the 2nd node from the top has 2 that also come out then to give you 4? I fimmed my one big plant on the windowstill and got 10 new tops from it! After that my fim has failed each time and I end up topping haha but stil epic growth man! Are you using nutes atm or not? Can't remember if I read it somewhere in your thread but too lazy to look now

lol, just leave the fan leaves where the bottom tops are growing out from, and trim the top leaves, by chosing wich original leaves to trim, you can control the speed at which top grows, i found this out last fgrow when i noticed if you trim a leaf befor the top at that leafs node forms, it takes WAY longer for that top to grow
pretty much it allows for the lower tops to catch up with the tops made by topping because their fan leaves are still actively producing energy

hope that made sense, im quite medicated atm

ill post a pic this evening illustrating this, at the SAME nodes, near the bottom of the plant, i have 1 leaf trimmed and one leaf still on, there is a top growing on the side with the leaf, and ZILCHO on the side with the trimmed leaf. i think it will make a great pic actually lol

Indoor showed Hairs yesterday :D took a cutting the day before (perfect timing lol). Just gonna leave it under a Lamp on an 18/6 timer.

13 watt 6500k bout a foot away, spring water bottle, with spring water in it (duh? lol) aquarium airstone, dipped cutting in TakeRoot befor puttin it in the half assed bubble cloner. I decided to do it this way, sice with the stem constantly submerged there is no need for a humidity dome. And from what ive seen it has the best succes rate of the cloning methods

clone Day 2 of rooting, still looks pretty damn healthy

when i need to change water all i have to do is twist off the lid and with it comes the clone and air stone :D, very easy and efficient, just plop on top of another bottle every other day after wrapping it in duck tape to cut off light, till roots pop of course

Clone is doing even better now, the first root tip emerged, pretty crazy

and one tiny little protruding root :D nice and white (srry couldnt get my phone to focus :/

all outdoors were male :'(

Day 23 day 13 of 12/12 day 3 flowering :D

Canopy as 3 tops is now bigger than it was as 4 lol

Stretchin like a BOSS (still dealing with my cat chewinf leaflets lol

Can you see it? it is there, look at the very bottom of the new growth on the left

what? you still can't see it? Ok how about now :D

Sadly it's happening to me too. But after the recent waves of spam postings the admins had to do something.

mine got fixed lol.

@your sig lol
you can use selective trimming of fan leaves or individual leaflets to control the growth of your plant. either keeping it smaller during veg, or deciding where you want new side branching. example:
i trimmed the leaf in the inside to prevent a new top from growing there. it works almost every time if you get the leaf before the new growth is visable. helps a shit ton with airflow lol

sorry, not trying to correct you or anything, just saying there are some benefits to fan leaf removal. as long as you leave a full canopy/ but really only BEFORE buds start. they are the sugar factories for the buds during . wont be trimming no more unless i need too

dat 24...day 14 of 12/12, day 3 flowering

from above. did some mild LST to space the tops and give me an extra couple inches of vertical room

from the side. the stretch is still on

clone still doing great, no wilting or yellowing, not much on roots, the one there is about an eighth inch longer than it was lol. in the flowering box at the time of pic for a couple hours because my bro needed the lamp in the garage to see

daY 26 from soil...Day 16 of 12/12 ...day 4 of flowering

The blue PC fan is there spinning because it props up between the main stem of the baby, and the LST wire at a particular angle so it constantly blows vertically UP through the interior of the plant. that way when buds begin to form i dont have to worry about mildew or mold with humidities even into the 60% tile

WOOT!

day 28 from soil. day 18 12/12, day 6 of true flowering, room was a concern so i decide to go on with just 2 main tops and take the 3rd as a second clone

here's where i took the cutting, left 2 small shoots behind so i could have a couple small buds replace the top i removed, that way i can try to make up for a little bit of the yield i lost by taking the cutting

and the 2 clones, both doing good, no sign of wilting or yellowing at all, using the same bubble bottle method for each, i only have one airstone so im switching it back and forth between the two every 1 1/2 hours. using RO water with a tiny bit of calmag and one drop of superthrive, TakeRoot is my cloning solution (woot, walmart for the win, actually walmart should burn in hell) You can see in this pic that my hygrometer said humidty is about 55% inside the flowering box...perfect lol

IT'S TIME FOR THE FUN TO BEGIN!!!!!!!!!! the new incoming growth is starting to get frosty!!!!! :O

that may be high ruderalis pheno, and be disappointing. its got that puppy toe shape to the leaves. who knows.........phenos are funny.

which one would be the "first" plant. Both outdoors were male, and the indoor didnt show as female untill switched to 12/12, i see no signs of ruderalis. lol
