Sunsystem 630w CMH x 12

First time poster looking for reassurance, just finished building new flower room and have 8x24 feet of active grow space(10.5x30 room size). Ready to pull the trigger on 12 x 630 LEC/CMH 3100k lights. Plan is to have each light cover 4x4 area. 4 plants per light - 48 total. Just curious if this sounds like a solid plan, did some research and searching the forums but could only find info on smaller tent grows and not sure if this is overkill for the space? Thanks in advance for the help

Yo, i guarantee that will bring results. I have 12 630w cmh’s too. I flower with 10 and veg w 2. I have a 2.5 ton daikin mini split and a 1hp leader pump w netafim dripper stakes. I also do 4 per light, 4x4, double scrogged. I am quite happy with the setup. You can pull around 2 pounds a light if you veg long enough... 1.5 all day

Should be ok, might get a little better yields if you mixed some HPS in there. I was disappointed with yields when I tried a 630 over a 4x4 area, but I am used to the yields from 1kW HPS over a 4x4 area. The best buds were right between the CMH and the HPS that was next to it (my rows are 4x8).

That's about right I run 2 315's on a 4x 4 with great results. I think you better off getting a bunch of 315's then 630's.

Nice setup. That combination of dual bulb and internal ballast makes for a really clean install. Much less cable and clutter.

No way in hell, especially in flower. With a 1000 watt DE CMH you can cover about 6x6 in veg and 5x5 in flower.
he is running multi lights, overlap should cover it. But yea one wont flower a 5 x 5 well unless using a light mover.

Short square frequencies. 315's single end ballest put out SSF and the double ended does not.

You may be thinking of the bastard lamps that are CMH but made to run on a Hi freq ballast- but not very well. But low freq square wave CMH DE are available in proper CMH tech

Hey, Lucky Luke. I don’t have a grow journal, I just started posting on here the other day, still trying to learn to navigate the site. I will check out some journals and give it try now tho. Definitely like the supportive input most people contribute. I do have some polics i took though, I will post them. You really would have to have your system dialed the fuck in to hit tat 2 lb mark, obviously. I got just under a couple rounds ago. I yielded 17-18 lbs. with smalls and didnt even have my new irrigation setup and also had a couple hiccups.. The weight came from sour diesel that went 13 weeks b4 i finally couldnt wait anymore. I’ll check out your content as well. Peace man
