SUN SYSTEM 10 Advice--- Please help.....

Can anyone please tell me if I'll need a hood for this lamp or does it look like it's got one built in? Is this a better setup than the one with the square hood ????

Oh, and also.. Anyone have good luck with the SUN SYSTEM 10 Setup ?? 400 WATT to be exact ...

That's a cool tube. You can run some ducting and add a fan to keep your grow space cooler.

It has a reflector built in (what you called a hood).

It's better than a square reflector for cooling purposes. It's almost the same as a square reflector for light dispersion.

Thanks phyzix.... Kinda think this might be a better choice than a regular square reflector. Less heat = nice !
