first off i said was fan of the qb ..[but not you anymore and you know why]

i was not trashing it at all so please do not play noble victim...and i am not worrying about anything

the post was only because everyone was trashing sunboards.

.and of course a panel could not be made in china and be any good.[sarcasm]..

ok ...so that means your board is not 2mm..its ok.. feel good....youdon't have to make excuses

i said i like the qb

i just wanted an answer..[and still didn't get it]

so we could have saved alot of words if we were just given the answer..its nothing to be ashamed of..

as for what i did..

i told you i was lazy and apologized..and moved on..i am fine with it..

BUT you never apologized for what you did..and i am waiting for one.
:dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce:ITS NOT ABOUT THE SIZE OF THE BOARD ITS HOW YOU USE IT!!!!:dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce:

Long time no see. We have been busy as we bought over half a million 561C last week.
I really wanted to stay off this thread. I want people to make their own fair decision and not unfairly use this thread to promote sales of QB
yet here you are in this thread.. poor OMS.... feeling bad because no one was talking about you ?

2mm PCB thickness. You got a long way to go if you just stuck on PCB thickness. There are parameter that are even more important than just thickness. QB was not designed in China. QB was designed in US by Electrical Engineers so do not waste your time worrying about QB
First you made identical copy Qb design and posted in Qb thread.(yes your new board looks different ), now you are trashing QB. o_O . nice...

outstanding quality control and way to engineer a quality board
Thickness of the board is far less important than copper weight of the clad layers. Some of the Chinese board manufacturers (cough-China Circuits-cough) are rather notorious for selling one ounce copper boards and delivering .5 ounce copper boards. Just ask Beckman Coulter about that...

Oh, and in this application, thinner is actually better at transferring heat from the diodes to the mounting plate....

Will someone please google Trade Dress, please. This thread would be less complicated. There are 40 DIFFERENT suppliers of Samsung diodes on custom PCB's from Alibaba alone. 40 different......:peace:
But if you dig even deeper most are limited as to size,im pretty sure if you look hard enough.
The you need to look at there turn round as well..
There are a lot of variables to understand.

Yes, you need to do your homework when trying to get a bargain or you will screw yourself.
What does that have to do with availability. First it wasn't possible to do this yourself, now that it is, of course, the developers claim it is difficult.
Is that anything like your trade dress argument?

Go with Quantum boards they are the the ones who did all the work and designed them sunboards are a ripoff of the hard work robincnn and stephenj37826 put in . I personally would not buy from a scumbag that would steel another persons hard work just my 2 cents
Samsung did the work...sticking samsung chip sets to a board is hardly ripping anyone off. You source the best Leds in the Market and use them... or should they mount them on tissue paper... or a COB so 50% goes up?

One ounce is considered "standard". .5 ounce is "budget". The high current/high reliability stuff is usually 1.5 ounce or 2 ounce. Gigabyte uses 2 ounce traces in their "Ultra Durable" series motherboards.

Its per square foot.
So is this yet another spec you feel would be relevant for the sellers of DIY LED Components to list about their products for fair comparison?
Kinda like - "⇢purchase shock prevention washers here⇠" :hump:
