Summer time heat

In about mid April I shut off my HID, until about October due to heat issues. I have tried keeping my strains alive under 4 HO-T5 4 ft long. This created too much heat for an are I can not vent outside.
I ran into these lights for $35 each recently and wonder if I could take 2 or 3 of these and keep a few healthy plants alive until time to fruit in the fall?
Let me know what you think. Thanks

As long as you are running photo strains, you can veg them as long as necessary. With a couple four foot tubes, you should be fine. You might want to consider taking cuttings, letting them go as far as your lights let them, and then taking another set of cuttings when things get real bushy, since you are planning on waiting until fall to put them into flower.

quick edit: maybe think about ditching the security deposit, say fuck the landlord, and vent into your roof, or walls. Trust me here, the key to indoor growing is being able to control your temps and humidity. You can always patch any holes you cut with a cheap $20 kit of mesh and plaster. Best of luck.

The I do vent the lamp to the outside when its warm but even with that the room throws a lot of heat back into my house. My A/C could never keep up with the demand.

I live in Australia and we are having 110f days. What I do is 1. turn lights on during the cooler parts of the day including all night. 2. Cooled hood and 600w air ducted into the next room, no holes just leave the door slightly ajar 3. Raise light when necessary 4. Larger fan directed just above canopy. 5. Windows and doors open when possible to allow airflow and the setup is in a hallway where there is good airflow not in a tent or small room.

My room has no issues in the summer because I run an AC. My room is a closed system, i.e. I only bring air in and only through the AC, even in winter.
