Suggestions on new hoods?

Right now i've got two 600w hps in the flower room, i'm looking to upgrade my hoods. What hoods are quality doesn't matter the price. just looking for suggestions. Right now i just have the cheap wing reflectors.

check your area for used gear, I see lots of HPS stuff in good shape.

I hear a lot of good things about Raptor... That's all I know..

thanks for the reply. Im wondering if I get a hood with glass if its going to block some of the sun light? any idea about that.

There is always some loss from reflectors or glass.. I'm not sure of the percentage but any loss should be made up for by being able to run your lights closer to the canopy..

wouldn't running the lights closer to the canopy only dull how there footprint and make them cover less?

I mean maybe 3" closer.. Not enough to shrink the footprint.. I've only used the glass tube type..

if I could do it over I would go bare bulb or just the cheap little wings in my sealed space.

Most of my grows were open room bare bulb... Imo it is the best way for indoors... This tent growing has quite a learning curve to it... Also led and organic soil.. gettin there...
