Any fans of Sublime? I swear by them.

Some may know, they reunited with a new singer who goes by the name of Rome. Hes not bad but he is no Brad Nowell. (almost rhymed)

check out youtube and search "sublime 2009" or "sublime w/ Rome"

No one can top Brad.

Its been rumored that once their contract with MCA ends (this year) the guys at Skunk Records will most likely be releasing alot of old stuff no one has heard before. They never released it because MCA would jsut steal their money like they did when the Self-Titled album came out.

agreed. Eric has the sound, Bud has the rhythm, and Brad had the soul. I will definitely give these guys a chance.

Ya gotta have respect for Rome, it takes balls to try and fill Brad's shoes. Ya know its gotta be hard. I've always been a huge sublime fan from the get go - and i think rome does a great job. I look to see them going somewhere with it. Good for Sublime live on! missed that rythm and style....

Rome did a cover of "Whatever You Like." He just became my best friend.

He's no Brad, but I'm glad to see Sublime out again. They were too good to be struck by such events. I think Rome can pull the band, though. It'll be pretty chill.

stays relevant.
So the other members of the band had nothing to do with how great they were?

thats a little whack to say that if you really loved sublime
no, whack is the band without brad...

honestly if it sounds and feels the same, then i'm all for it- but I am hesitant to give it a shot being that I doubt it will be like the old sublime.

I didn't say he replaced brad.
I said the opposite in fact.

Hes actually not horrible. They still got the sublime sound just a different vioce.
Brad made the songs powerful with his lyrics but sublime was who they were because of the rhythm.....coming from eric and bud......

To say "nobradnosublimenolove" is disrespecting the band as a whole.

I agree with that, I'm stoked to see what they do with him.
