Never cool to bash on some dudes woman. Hey, he found himself a chick who smokes and puts up with his shit. We should all be so lucky.

I tried some of his Vortex at the LA Cup and found it to be pleasant but mild/weak. The big plus it did have though was that it seems to last a while, which is nice. Would I grow it? Nah, there is better out there.

Back when Vortex was new to the scene it's high was said to lack a ceiling and she made really nice hash.

I did a pretty large phenohunt last year and kept one with a pretty wicked high and nice growth. As I have Apollo 13 here as well, there really is no competition with such and the Vortex has been retired.

Definitely. Brother's Grimm Apollo 13 is simply a legend, Vortex is just Sub's attempt to sell her (or similar) beans. He would later make an attempt at selling a backcross with limited success. There were only 300 seeds of Apollo 13 offered, so I can see the market he was/is aiming for. That said, I originally set out to find the "baby poo" pheno of Vortex, but failed out of the 10-15 I dropped :(

In one breath you say stop hating, but in the same post hate on Greenhouse.

My thoughts? Anyone who has actually grown Super Lemon Haze and/or Lemon Skunk is very unlikely to be absolute haters of Greenhouse who would falsely claim all of their gear is crap. Those lines are high quality. Are they going to be everyone's favorite plants? No. Subjectivity is a great thing that makes life interesting.

Could you say GHS isn't worth supporting solely because they only offer feminized seed? Yes, sure. Subjective again, but still.

Are there legitimate criticisms of TGA? Yeah. Can you find amazing plants in their gear? Yeah. Is the gear stable? The Bx's are going to be to some degree. Are polyhybrid crosses ever stable? No. But can you find amazing plants? Yes. Haze is a classic example.

Personally I'd like to see a lot more true breeding plants and more high quality explosively vigorous F1's, but that's just me.

I'd say Arjan's greatest accomplishment is that Skunk #1 (lemon pheno) he crossed with his Super Silver Haze so that we could grow her in our basements :bigjoint: I'd even go as far to guess Super Lemon Haze is the most (viable) cup winner in cannabis history, having just tied for first place in last years Seattle Cannabis Cup(2 separate entries). Regardless, she is a true legend and has been in my garden since I first ran across her :weed: Nothing Subcool or TGA has done will ever compete with those tried and true genetics 8)

Actually to be accurate, it's Super Silver Haze on a Silver Surfer Vape. Try saying that one time fast.

Well, you know, an odd thought crossed my mind. If you have a strain that produces so many phenos, you can't count them all. And all the breeders strains are more or less this type of multi polyhybrid... Why couldn't you be getting the same cross over and over again no matter what you order? I mean if there is endless variation, and that's what your selling...
