Here are my plants.

( reg's bagseed)
Plant #1 pics 1-2
Youngest seedling. The brown leaf came off this afternoon.

Plant #2 pics 3-4
Middle child. Growing the best, slowly. Within the last 3 days has changed to purple.

Plant #3 pics 4-5
The eldest seedling. Lost its first set of leaves (the single point ones)
and started to droop like this right before i moved it to a bigger pot.

Plant #4 pics 6-7
Is actually a seed from some real fire bud. Its over 50 days old and is just now starting to grow.

I am using Jungle Growth potting soil from Lowe's (24-12-12)

Distilled water up until 5 days ago i added 1/6 strength of plant food (24-8-12) I've only used this twice on plant 1 and plant 4.

PH is at 7-7.2

RH is in the 40% and in the 60% after watering

Temp is at mid to high 60's during lights off and low to mid 80's during lights on.

and i have lotsa light in there.

Help if ya can, :joint:

thanks

:peace:

I would kill those plants and read up for a few months. A plant that small at 50 days is saying something man. Read the FAQ here and I promise you will learn a lot and maybe treat your plants good.

are you feeding those seedlings nutes? if so your going to kill them for sure. Try and get that PH lower in soil. i keep mine b/w 6.5-6.7. low eights should be ok, but letting it drop below 65 isnt going to be ok.

Something is def not right, lights? water? soil? I mean come on, here is a pic of a plant that is 63 days old, it is planted in straight hard rock and ash, and hasnt had any water other than a rain once every two weeks. I havent touched this plant at all!

Explain a little more about your setup, and they r way too small for nutes.

oh shit I just realized you said that one is 50 days....oh man you have some homework to do bro, My plants are about that old and in flowering, so you may be a bit behind there. But dont swet it you just gotta hit the research and get the basics down. then when you feel like you know enough to start go for it. It seems like you never read up on giving nuted to young seedlings. ITS A BIG NO NO, Some peeps start feeding early, but depending on what medium you are using, you generally should not feed for the first couple to few weeks, i wait about 3 weeks b/c I use Ocean by Foxfarm soil and it already is high in nutrients and gives plenty to the seedlings. Then after you feel that your plant could use some food, start at 1/4 the recomended dose. i made the mistake and didnt listen to that. GOOD LUCK, GET BETTER AND GROW FIRE.

Ok so the old one i understand. I started it with to little light, wrong soil and it was constantly moving trying to get situated.
I never used any nutes just distilled water. Same with these seedlings. Yesterday was day 21 and i used 1/6th strength only on two of them. <edit>(one of them was plant 4 the old one)
These seedlings have been taken care of. I've done research and to my knowledge doing things fairly by the book.
They get watered when they are getting dry, not dried up and i don't soak them. Water level is even throughout the medium. Lights are on 18/6. I have 12 26w CFL's at 6100k i believe. I have a large fan that blows in front of them and wiggles them just a little.

How did i burn them? I only watered one of the seedlings with any nutes. So whats the cause for the purple and plant 3?

You guys jump on my ass and didn't really read what i posted. Otherwise you would have read that 2 of the seedlings have only been watered with distilled. A little less volatile guys. smoke one or something :joint::joint:

I'd like some advice and constructive criticism.

Oh and the medium is Jungle Growth potting soil. 40 Quart Potting Mix With Fertilizer

Here's my simple veg plan that always works......

Soil- MG Organic Soil + Perlite + Worm Castings...
Light- 2-25w Cool CFL's Per Plant

I feed GH maxigro 1/4 strength towards the end of the 2nd week....I use a 24/0 light cycle for the first week, then 18/6 for the rest.... I hardly water, maybe once a week (depending on ur conditions and pot size) The one feeding is usually good enough until flower for me.... I flower at 4 weeks...I usually get at least an Oz per plant

Flower....... 250w HPS
Nutrients...... GH Maxibloom

I feed with GH maxibloom once a week at 1/4 strength increasing gradually throughout flowering....at the halfway mark I introduce Molasses....1tbsp-1gal every other watering.....

I also give a good flush every few weeks to get rid of any buildup......

Whats the temp? How much are you watering? How much wind does the fan produce?

Tom :joint::peace:
The temp stays in the mid to high 60's at night and low to mid 80's in the day.
I water when the moisture meter reads below 2.5 and water till about 5.
The fan only gently moves 2 of the 4 plants depending on position. I also rotate them every day one space to the right.

I just want you to see what can be accomplished with very little effort. The plant in these pictures is my first attempt at growing & there are many rules I didn't follow. It's a bagseed, never once checked PH,used distilled water, used Miracle Grow, never transplanted, never monitored temperature, never watched humidity, & only gave it a very little bloom boost(MG) with water when it started flowering. To top all that off it's growing under CFLs & tube furos only. These things are all no nos, but my girl is doing well I think & this plant is about 75 days old. I would start over if possible & if you do things correctly you should have plants that big in two weeks.

See and thats why i am so confused. i've helped my buddy Twistup04 with his plants that are a week older than mine and they look great. I really thought these three seedlings were going to do well b/c they started decent enough and i actually have an ok setup.

u have everything fine...its just that dirt is really effecting them......they should come back if ur not overwatering......dont water until it gets to 5....those roots arent that big.....just water around the stem and call it a day..u cant afford to keep burning....

for you i would start over cuz those ones are going to be more work to bring them back get some new pottingmix not top soil and a new bag of weed and just stay using the mircle grow 24-8-16 its hard to mess up using mircle grow and you will see the plant grow after they have ther 4th or 5th set in then you can start the fert prrocess

I agree w/ SunnyD. I think your set up is fine - maybe try to put them in some different soil. It seems like you have done some reading. Don't over - love them(lol).

oh and when you water you soak it never just give it a little bit that will keep the roots small when you soak it when it dries the roots will flow the water going down and make for bigger root system
