Strange Hermie?

So I'm wondering if anyone else has ever run into this, because I never have.

I'm in the 6th week of flower using fem. seeds indoors, and everything was looking good. I went away for a couple days and came back to find that one plant was not only showing male flowers, but had also pollinated itself. So basically I had a plant that was female go hermie, have male flowers, and have seeds. I chopped it, but am wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen?
