Strange green in my dirt.

So my plants are growing great, no problems, no signs of any issues, but as I was watering today I noticed almost all of my containers have some green spots in the dirt. I used clear containers to be able to see the roots. Here is a pic. I ph'ed the water to 6.4, and the excess water was 6.1... My initial thought is that it is a mold of some sort, but I'm not sure what to do as far as remedying it. Thanks

I think that's why you see a lot of black pots at nurseries. That's algae and your roots are competing against it for oxygen and nutrients. Do you have holes in your container?

yes i do have drain holes in the bottom, i drilled more than i thought was good enough. I only water when the top 2 inches is dry, but i could let it dry out even more. i didn't even think that the clear pot would promote growth on the sides.
