LOL. Sad little boy, someday you will realize that its not about that. Until then please just hang out on craigslist with your medical grade clones you are trying to get rid of because they are dying and full of bugs, a scamming little punk thats all you are. Sad I have wasted this much energy on you.

haha you remind me of a friend that i have... its true, i mean i give away atleast 8 oz/month to my patients. sell the rest and buy more growing equipment or stuff for the house... being a grower is NOWHERE near cheap, it actually can break your bank randomly from a stupid mistake or calculation. but the OP didnt ask your thoughts tony, he just wanted to know what strains were the hot sellers in michigan right now, i mean, like it matters anyway, he will buy the seeds(2weeks) plant them and harvest (3-5 months) by that time that strain will be dead in the ground with new popular selections from whatever stupid seedbank from UK... after this im breeding my own strains, that way you will never, EVER be able to get it anywhere else. SUPPLY and DEMAND is what the most popular strain is.

Well being a MMJ patient is not about how much money someone can profit. You trying to be sly and coy about your illegal operations or plans is pretty @!&@!*) stupid. Grow up you punk and take your shit elsewhere.
While I agree for the most part, being a person afflicted with severe chronic pain that uses mj to self-medicate in a state where it is not legal, sometimes you simply accept things that are illegal with a risk-benefit ratio. For me the benefit of illegally participating in consumption of cannabis outranks the detriment of taking pain pills all the time. So long as I am aware of the consequences I can't blame anyone.

Sadly, everything does come down to money in the end. The prevalence of mj is largely due to money. If it were not profitable then it would not be accessible. Even many people who run clinics it is still mostly for money. It just helps to have a noble justification. No matter what the subject matter it always makes people feel better, to feel what they do, they do with nobility and honour rather than for a more base motivation. When one really examines themselves, however, the base motivations tend to be quite numerous.

I have always noticed having to travel in the "illegal" circles the nuances of salesmanship with mj. It is ironic to see it and know that many dealers are exactly the same as a car salesman. They convince you the product is better, whether or not it is on it's own merits is an entirely different matter.

Purple Urkle. People pay big bucks for the Urkle. Its GDP without the Big Bud cross. Urkel is a more grapier fruitier purple. It sells for a lot because its a low yielder, yet high quality smoke. Not a lot of people grow it because of the yield. Thats why it was crossed with Big Bud to make it more appealing to commercial growers. Now we have Grand Daddy.

Just got to weigh in here; I'm neither mother theresa giving away everything I grow nor am I scarface slanging blow to the point of owning islands and tigers. What I want to know is why are so many people who believe that MJ should be legal (your forms of legalization differ greatly, so what; face it you DO agree) are such fierce rivals. Hippies who believe the weed should be free no matter what can find like minded peeps just the same as the business man looking for fair compensation for, face it fucker, a highly skilled trade and high quality product. BOTH of those people should be allowed to do what they will a plant they grow. our common enemy is ignorance (very few materials on earth aren't deadly at any dosage) about the safety of this plant and those who PROFIT from it's being llegal and the incarceration of ALL growers of the plant. As for the compensation, if you don't like to pay and think it's suposed to be free to all write the seed banks and explain that, surely they will send you free seeds. then explain that to the guy at the grow store and he will hand you everything you need to grow, right? Then a quick email to the power and water company and I'm sure they will waive their fees. Then you just throw seeds at dirt and high grade pot springs out of the dirt right? it's a plant, no different then any other hiighly sought after plant in the world. people pay for it. want it to be free then straight on legalize it. nobody pays by the oz for tomatoes and corn....I think there is a corelation.

I agree with most of what you said but medical grade marijuana will never be as cheap as fucking produce. LOL No farmer on earth puts as much work into growing veggies as cannabis growers do into producing a high quality medicine. The difference is that it's a medicine and not a vegetable for eating. I grow a vegetable garden!

Is that because you can't grow outside in your garden? My buddy threw caution to the wind last year and put plants in his garden next to his tomatoes and had tons with no effort and it's pretty damn good. 99% of the cost of growing the high grade stuff we do is cuz it's indoors and we're limited by plant number keeping demand high. take the caps on plant numbers and the illegal aspect and pot IS a tomato. seeds at wal-mart, free light from the sun, no need to hide your breeding programs all = a very low price. Maybe not produce low but sure as shit not $60 an 1/8th oz either (price from ganjamammas in Ann Arbor) I'm feeling you vapor, never that cheap but we can get really close.

I dont understand why people have to bash the OP and discount his thread. He just came in to ask a simple question and a few of you make it into a cannabis jihad for all michiganders. Just let him ask his questions and get his answers without snide remarks and all exist on the board in pieces. We all do our grow operations our own way, if he chooses to do it in quantities in which he can sell enough to make some money, more power to him. If he chooses to give it away, i wish him the same luck. We dont need to troll each other, as michiganders growing we need to band together and share experiences and techniques. I do agree some of us need to grow up. Not everyone is altruistic. You'd be naive to assume they are.

Personally, id just keep my own opinions to myself and answer the question at hand.

Good luck to all.
