So I’ve successfully grown autos where I live but want to try a couple of photo periods.

Any recommendations?

We get 12/12 lighting hours from about September onwards. Trouble is it’s often only in the upper 60’s from then on. First frosts are usually end of October/Mid November but can often come later.

Ive read Kali Mist is surprisingly resistant to cold and wet weather.

Got the beans so gonna try that maybe but open to suggestions.

I’ve found many strains that will flower above 12 hours of light, you just have to experiment a bit and find what works and stick with that or similar.

Unfortunately my outdoor crop was stolen last week, but it was nearly ready, and we’re only just above 12/12 now if that’s anything to by.

I’m Southern Hemisphere but sounds like a similar climate and equivalent month to you.

I’m sure some of the outdoors fellas will have some great info.

Is it not best to choose multiple sites outdoors? always thief's lurking about never done one myself due to this reason but seen a few videos of outdoor grows where I am and they all seem to choose multiple sites to plant.

I was thinking about a motorway grow multiple sites but putting the time into it for someone to steal would be devastating feel for you mate hope your next one goes better I'd stay clear of putting them back into the same place as they will be back to check if your replanting next harvest time

No worries man! I’m only doing a couple small ones anyways. Not for yield just a tester along with some autoflowers.

That purple satellite sounds ideal! Only trouble is regular seeds only… but it sounds so good I’m gonna order a pack. Mold resistant is the number 1 priority here as humidity is often 70-80% easy

I guess I could maybe start 3-4 then cull the males?

I'm at a similar latitude I've tried growing many times but they just get into flowering when the autumn weather turns frosty/wet/damp and never amounted to anything worthwhile.

I've a pack of auto's Runtz I'm going give a try hopefully this year.

Just been looking at some outdoor possibilities mould resistant etc and came across this early skunk from sensi seeds.

Seeds on there are from panik a uk breeder loads of semi autos fit for our climate barring that hybrids from hell there stuffs made for climates like ours or friesland indica would suit you well bro too

So all strains are suited then? Mind u sent that site a while back but was a bit confused as to what is mould resistant.

Would be nice finding a photoperiod but autos are pretty good these days and grow no bother outdoors here

Yes that's the one I have mate, my hands are a bit full atm so it might be next year before I get the outside.

I bought a bag of Jrb compost a couple of weeks ago to start them then thought nah the compost will have bugs so I need to start them outside or elsewhere.

They’re pretty low maintenance plants outdoors I find. Don’t need feeding until early flower (depending on soil strength). Then a few weeks of bloom feed and that’s it. Also don’t need to water nearly as much as indoors which helps a bunch on workload

His outdoor ones are whats suitable make sure its a semi auto tho imo not a full photo strain for example from panik strains like dfg greengold guerilla gold 1 to 3 those are a good start have a browse also in the guerilla grower bit in the outdoor section on uk420 theres a 28+page thread on what will work in our climate and what dont etc it would be my advice bro

I’ve had success with clones from fast finishing plants. Veg them inside under 18hours of light until the plants are around knee height and put outside to finish.
The sudden decrease in light from the 18 hours indoors will make the plants flower even though the days aren’t 12/12. Most can do this twice a year.
You can do lots of small plants this way or veg them bigger and have a couple. But it’s definitely something to consider.
