So I've had bho & everclear in deep freeze for 48 hrs. Made the hour glass looking thing out mason jars with coffee filter between bottles. How long should I be letting it strain?

might take up to 30 mins depends on how much you are doing, and if it is the stuff off that 2 ounces u ran it will probably be 20 to 30 mins

Well it strained through 1 coffee filter all night long. Very little fluid made it through the filter. Most everything is still up in the top jar. Seems to me that I might need to strain it using a larger micron filter. Something that will allow more of the fluid to pass through. What do you guys think?

Most likely solution was too dense, it was not enough solvent.
How many ml of ethanol per gram BHO you used?

Was gonna use the 10:1 ratio by volume. But we rushed through that part & didn't even weigh it. I'd say we used around 200ml everclear to maybe 3 grams of bho. Tried the eyeing to more of a cocktail than wax, but I obviously jumped the gun. SLOW & LOW is the tempo says wisest boys of them all.

A good ratio, but maybe you used 151 proof? Several times I've read reports and seen the pictures, which reported an unsuccessful application of a weak ethanol. Instead of the solution there occurred emulsion which is very bad filtered.

Sounds like a syringe filter or vacuum assisted filter is required.

One could very carefully use a syringe to gently siphon off the solvent leaving the precipitate layer and a little good solvent.
