High CBD is for ointments. It might help you chill but thats it. No stone- no high... Imagine 12+ weeks waiting on that expecting it to Kaboom you.
Ive done a few high CBD last was Z6 was a dank as looking-smelling and made great ointments but the bud i couldnt give away.

I find that mj, like a prescriptive med, can affect people differently. Hope you can use this site, www.leafly.com/explore , as a guide. I personally like Juanita la Lagrimosa by Reggae Seed for relaxation and sleep. I flower until about half the thrics are amber. It is a "Sativa" but very high CBDs.
The point to which mj is allowed to flower, I find, does more to influence the medicating affect. I harvest when thrics are about 50/50 amber. As an insomniac who uses cannabis to get to sleep, I can say from personal experience that Sensi Star, Herijuana (when grown right), and possibly Deep Purple are great sleep meds. Also, Afghani strains are typically very sleepy. If you wait for some amber before chopping, that would help...I tried cannatonic, it was good against headache, but didn't help with sleep much...it was just that one pheno though...

White Rhino or Black Domina, I heard Big Bud is a sleepy strain but not a great choice to grow
I got a freebie of bluehash from dinafem awhile back. It put me to sleep for the first 45 days in the jar. After 45 day cure time it gave me a really sedative buzz but didnt put me to sleep. Generally MJ doesn't put me to sleep though, so for it to knock me out like it did I would recommend it.

Can you elaborate on the Herijuana (when grown right) comment? I just started some for use as a sleep aid. Any pointers you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Outdoor Herijuana doesn't do anything for me...at least the local stuff. Organicaly grown indoor Herijuana is where it's at! The strain has a rather odd aroma, which some find unpleasant. I am not too fond of it myself, but the sample I got from a friend (grown in a homemade organic mix under a 600 watt HPS in a good setup with climate control) was very potent, and really helped fall asleep at night.
I also forgot to mention Medicine Man (from Mr Nice) in my last post...It's the original White Rhino renamed. Supposed to be a very good medical strain. I tried growing WR from Greenhouse, but it turned out to be garbage...maybe it was a bad batch...or maybe not...
