I just went through this whole process.
I wanted to try to get the best Sativa and best Indica hybrids out there and it was difficult to get good answers but there were some strains that kept being highly reccomended so I tried to order those.
For the sativa dominant:
Jah Herer (normally called Jack Herer) There are many dif versions out there and it takes a lot of research and reading but in the end just get the cheap version of HomeGrownFantaseeds who calls this strain "Jah Herer" and it's fem'd

For the Indica dominant:
Nirvana Blue Mystic was highly recommended and it looks pretty cool. It got great reviews in the mags and was repeatedly spoken about as one of the best, also it was cheap for a fem seed.

I don't have any bud results yet, this was all on what other people told me and reviews I read.

Everyone has their own opinions and most people haven't tried a lot of the stuff out there. A lot of people will recommend Indica strain like sour diesel and others because its the best they've tried but a ton of people have never tried a good sativa dominant because it's rare in a lot of areas. Many people just find something they like and try to stick with it; so when they recommend it, they may not have a lot to compare it to. It's going to take a lot of time and reading to get a good idea of what your best strategy is. Magazine reviews are your best answers because those people have tried a lot look for top 20 or top 10 strains. It's worth taking your time and doing the research. Don't rush into it, you don't want to have to spend the money twice.
