stopped budding

Hey guys n gals...

ok so I got two random plants currently in week 5.3 of flower. Using a 600w dual spectrum hps in a grow tent with carbon filter heater and dehumidifier.

Problem is....the buds have not grown at all since 4 days ago. Only thing I can think that has changed around then is the adding of the dehumidifier and a change in feed. Before I was using just bio bizz bio grow and bio bloom but 4 days ago I started adding plant magic platinum, silicic acid and bio heaven at a quater of the recommended dose. Im hoping that the reason is the addition of the new nutes. Atm they don't look like they got nute lock but I intend to flush later anyway. Also before I forget they are growing in peat soil.

I will add pics later when lights come on but for now does anyone have any ideas?

Ya I understand about pics but can't till lights go on later as I did state in OP. but whilst im waiting for the next 13 hours I posted incase anyone has come across same problem before. Thanks for help tho.....

That's your pic?, The plant's stops growing after 2 to 3 weeks after flowering. It concentrates on bud production. It looks good to me

Couldn't get decent closeup of pale leaves so removed one and took pic. Also I am aware the plant will stop growing my issue is with the buds....have and no gain in size or density for 5 days now and also trichome production seems to have halted also. For sure r not pollination as I have no males growing and they r not hermies. When compared to pics of the mother at same stage of bud there is less then half the bud size and these r under 600w hps she was under 225w cfl.

Anyway tonight I have gave them a big flush after letting them go bone dry....some signs of nute burn showing today so maybe that was just it but have never heard of it before. Im noob to growing inside but environmental factors have all been checked.

light on temp is 27-29c
Light off temp is a steady 20c.
humidity is 40% on and 55% off.
plants have good steady air flow.
filter system and fans all working.

so has anyone heard of plants stopping all together due to nute lock?

They look fine. A little nute burn but not too bad. Just give them plain water the next couple feeds. No need to flush anything. As far as the pale leaves. It could be two things, plant using stored energy in the leaves for budding or those particular leaves are low on the plant and don't get much light. Let the plant drop them when its done with them, don't rip them off. Also what do you mean by PEAT SOIL. Peat Moss?

Peat moss and soil mix
john innes or whatever his name lol
I was asking if you used peat moss because peat moss caused me a ton of issues in my first grow. If you use it make damn sure you add plenty of dolomite lime because peat moss is super acidic and the Ph swings throughout the grow will suck if you don't use plenty of lime. They say to add 2 tbspoons per gallon of soil, but I do 3 and I haven't had any problems since. I have a great soil recipe a fiend of mine from here gave me. If you would like it let me know.
Anyways Though your plants look awesome in my opinion my friend and if you make it through a grow without a couple of pale leaves then I need to take lessons. Otherwise the plant drops leaves when it no longer needs them or if they don't get enough light, or uses the stored energy during flower. Mine drop leaves everyday and I used to panic but I don't anymore, as long as the plant looks healthy overall. Sorry for the ramble, good luck my friend and merry christmas

Heya dscj....thanks for that chart looking at it om thinking nitrogen deficiency. maybe middle to late stages what do u think?
Yes I thing your right. I fix a lot of problems with Deuce Deuce by itself. It's all organic but no (N) But if your plants in flowering stage your plant will stop growing and just bud,big leaves will die off starting from the bottom, Man I wish I can see them in person. I have done a lot's of research on on Organic Soil and Hydro, use all potting soil brand and also have done a custom. I have to say i'am a big fan of Fox Farm Soil. Its perfect P.H. and Organic. I have never got burn using there soil and nutrients like others. I don't use Fox Farm chart, I have a custom chart. I use no nutrients until plants start to flower. You can use Fox Farm soil with no nutrients long as you transplant several times going 1 to 3 gal. pots. Always use plastic round. I do use one brand that's not Fox Farm because it kick's to much ass and can't be beat it is Deuce-Deuce. All Organic and is use at the end stages of flowering or some plant problems, I have notice tighter,Bigger Yield, More Aroma, More Flavor, More Potent and More heather Plant by using Deuce-Deuce with Fox Farm nutrients, used before a flush at the end stage of flowering.

Only things that will not let your plant grow would be
1. Late Flowering Stage, Plant stops growing, Plant concentrates on Flowering production.
2. Root Bound, Not big enough container, I use 2-3 gallon containers for indoor flowering stage.
3. Nutrients lock up, Flush with Arrow Head Spring Water, Also fix hard core problems or just Flush with tap water that sat in a jug with cap off more than 24 Hrs to take some of the chlorine out, Water also has to be in P.H. range.
4. Plant to tall for indoor. I let my only get about 2 to 3 ft indoor. Some plants 18 inches yield 3 dried Ounces.
5. Using Cold water, I use room temperature water that been standing more than 24 hours.
6. Genetics, Some Indica's grow 6 inches tall. Those are so potent they blow away any large plant's in potency.
7. Soil and water P.H. "If your soil and water P.H. "It isn't a nutrient lock up if P.H. is in range" P.H. is the whole purpose of nutrient lock up.
8. Bad quality of light, Spectrum
9. Too Much Water
10. Never transplant in the light, Very low light and no nutrients your plant will not go into shock.
11. Plant's in shock
12. too cold at night, if plant get under 62F it will also stop growing.
13. Too hot when light's on, Plant stops growing after with no CO2 80F with CO2 90F

Man I hope this help's this is all i can think right now

Hope All is Well and Happy Holidays.

I'm a Older Stoner Engineer that has growing down to science, Lost job because of others that don't agree. so anybody interested in my cheap price growing book?
