Stop cutting your clone stems at a 45! There's a better way to get a white beard growing.

Found a pic of one starting a new tap root.
Bro when I google: "clones make taproot" it says over and over that they can't. I suggest you make a new post on every weed forum and brand the technique with your username, "Cannaclysmic Cloning", with better diagrams, a video, and try to hone the technique to where taproot are happening every time. Something appears to be going right to get the taproot I wonder if it can be improved upon..

I think you may be right dude. Thanks for the encouragement! I would like to get one to a botanist at a university to examine it. Maybe pull some slides of the tissue and see if the cells are consistent in type and arrangement to a natural tap root. But it sure does look like it. I have a big bubblegum x Purple Punch mom at the moment, I'll work on a better write up with pics of the process.

Thank you so much!!! You are an inspiration (to me)

What if you used something like a 40+ watt laser engraver/cutter module to slice through the stems, and cauterize them at the same time? What would happen?

I would, if i thought i qualified to teach people how to grow. Best i can do is direct you to slownickel on instagram. You can ask him directly and the info about clone callus' is in his previous posts. He shows everything with photos to back it up.
Thanks dude, valuble insight. I missed this before but glad I caught it. I think there may be similar things at work here.

Here is a discussion on calluses, with mentions of slownickel.

Can you please make a few diagrams showing how to do your method? I am new at cloning and want to use it but it's not 100% clear the technique (to me) thanks

CloneX Gel 15ml packet 6.56$
CloneX Clone Solution Quart 25$
Grodan Rockwool 1.5"x1.5" pack of 45 20$ or 2"x2" pack of 24 20$
Razor Blades 100pack 5$
Clone Tray 10"x20" 5$
Clear Humidity Dome 7$

You still looking for the best cloning technique? Id love to recommend a simple and extremely successful way. Grodan Rockwool cubes 1.5"x1.5" or 2"x2", soak in RO water with CloneX Clone Solution at 5ml per Liter @ ph 5.5-6.5 and soak cubes for 10 min. Always use a brand new razor cleaned with 90% alcohol, cut clone no less then 8" tall at 45° as it gives the most surface area and sharp point to easily penetrate the Rockwool, avoid scissors as they pinch and create less surface area for rooting sites. Dip clone stem into CloneX rooting gel conservatively and place stem into Rockwool until you feel it puncture into the Rockwool cube make sure to close up the hole around the stem. You can fit 24 1.5x1.5" or 18 2x2" with perfect spacing in the standard 10"x20" trays. Mix some CloneX Clone Solution for foliar spray at 5ml per L at 6.0 ph. Spray clones then place clear dome over clones with vent barely cracked open. Mist clones after 2 or 3 days and gradually open vent. This process so long as the plants you are cloning from are healthy can have roots in little as 7-8 days with 100% success. I always clone under T5 with extreme success. I am going to be cutting a few clones tomr if you would like I could take some pictures to better help.

Hey dude are you gonna make that updated explanation? Was really into the idea of adding it to my grows. I've never cloned before so without adequate instruction I'm afraid that I won't get this taproot advantage you discovered.. saw you in overgrow btw but don't get why your name is different

Nothing new here people… removing the cellular wall is common practice and you can throw a branch into tap water and get it to root. The biggest variable is the genetics, some just root super easy and others won’t root if you life depended on it.
