i know its early, and we should never get complacent, but what are people's thoughts about states which are shoo ins for legalization this year and next?

All I can come up with that I feel confident about is Rhode Island.

The only one I ever felt that confident about was Alaska- and they're legal now. That includes here- and I live in Colorado.

California is supposed to be a shoe-in for recreational use in the 2016 election. We have 5 seperate initiatives currantly working thier way through the system. The only way I see this thing not happening, is if the vote gets divided too thinly by having too many choices!

Michigan now has at least 3 and maybe 4 ballot proposals working their way forward. Two were reviewed by the state yesterday and are cleared to begin collecting signatures. Recent polls suggest roughly 50% of Michigan voters support legalization for recreational use, if it produces tax revenue.

Better hope Chris Christie doesn't become president, he has said he would reverse states that legalize it.
