You said that you give your meds away at no cost? How do you recover your expenses?
Elec,water,nutes,set-up, ect....

How much time to speed dealing with your crop per day or week.

Thanks for your help in giving the meds that so many of us need.

My patients have enough to deal with all ready... I can afford it, they can't.

I spend 15 minutes a day adding water and checking nutrients. 5 minutes if everything is in check. It's almost maintenance free.

I split my original system into two different systems each with their own res. I kept the original 1000 GPH pump in one of the systems. It was total overkill. As soon as I replaced the pump with a 400 my res temps dropped down to normal.

I've never had any root problems...

Go to school and study graphic design/photography.

I joined the Navy in 1980 so I could save up money and use my GI bill to go to collage. I waited tables during the night and went to school during the day. It sucked at the time but now I make $150/hr and I love my job.

Photography and design is so much fun I can't believe I get paid to do it. I have my own business, no boss and I smoke pot whenever I want, life is good.

Skills? What skills? Growing Aero is so fucking easy it's silly. If you can read a number on a meter you can grow hydro. Use my system and formula and you will grow all the killer buds you can smoke.

yeah that doesn't sound bad at all i love takin pictures, of outdoors, plants animals, whatever would look like a good picture i try to take it... i love pictures of clouds when all the lighting is right, and sunsets too.. right now i have a 8.1 mp sony which does good for everything i have to take pictures of right now... someday i will get a better camera and who knows maybe take up photography as a career?? it sounds really fun... well in that case if growin hydro is easy maybe after i get my first couple of grows down and understand how the plants are a little bit more maybe ill try some hydro growin.. i mean it doesn't take as long as soil i don't think usually... but one thing is where i live now, there is no place to get the equipment, im sure i could build one really easily but i would wait until i have my own place for that, i am in an apartment building now so later on down the road probably..sorry for takin your thread over man.. thanks for the ideas though really got me thinkin... peace stinkbud :peace:

Thats cool man, what type of work are you doing and what are you using? I just got done with my first sim. of school in photography, Just the basic and digital course. I'm using a 20d with a few lens, need to save up a little mula for 16-35 II L IS 2.8, 24-70L IS 2.8, and 70-200L IS 2.8. Then when it starts rolling in pick up a 5d or maybe mark III.
I will have to look into the design aspect.

I'm stoked for you dude! It takes forever to get all the good glass! Good thing is once you have it you never need to upgrade again. Bodies come and go but good glass will stay with you for many years.

I specialize in architecture photography. Here's my quiver (Canon):
5D, 17-40mm f/4, 24mm f/2.8 tilt/shift, 28-135mm f/5.6 IS, 50mm f/1.4, 70-200mm f/4, Tamron 200-400 f/5.6, 430EX flash. I also run a set of Hensel Monolights - 1000w, 500w and a 160w.

I waiting for the 5D MkII or 6D or whatever it will be called.

Do you find it an issue using the f/4 vs f/2.8?
Do you have any good blogs sites? Like this site but with photo?

Ya, right now I'm just using 28-135 IS 3.5-5.6 and 70-300 IS. I have a 50mm 1.8 non IS, and the 18-55 non IS.

What do you think about the new rebel S.?

The new rebel is great! My intern just got one. I can't believe you can get such a good camera for such a low price. Amazing! I wouldn't mind having one just for the 1.6x multiplier. It would turn my 70-200mm into a 112-320mm f/4. I can buy a new rebel cheaper than a 300mm f/4!

f/2.8 is useful on the telephotos because it let's you run a shallow depth of field. Great for portraits because you can blur the background. You can also run a faster shutter speed which is very helpful for action photography. Oh yea...you can shoot in low light better, it focuses faster in low light and the viewfinder is brighter also.

f/2.8 lenses are not always sharper than their f/4 counterparts. The new 70-200 f/4 IS is just as sharp at the f/2.8 and is a lot lighter in both weight and price.

Wide angle lenses have such a large depth of field already that you really only get a one stop shutter speed advantage using f/2.8 over f/4. You can get the same shutter speed at f/4 using and the next highest ISO setting. Nowadays the cameras are so clear of noise you can run up to ISO 800+ with no problems (unlike film).

Any of Canon's EF lenses are super sharp.

I always use a tripod and cable release when I work. Except for portraits or fun it's not worth taking the chance of a blurry photo. Tripods also force you to take more time and think about your composition.

I wish I could send you the link to my website but I have to keep my identity secret for obvious reasons.

Good luck with school! It must be starting soon. My intern is out of here in Aug to study photography in Utah. Part of his internship was trimming my bud:mrgreen:. He gets all the bud he can smoke!!! He doesn't know it yet but I'm sending the phat bag of blueberry with him to school! He's stoked!

3 DAYS? Your stoked dude! That's the best I've heard of yet. Good job!

I've found that plain water works best. I probably should PH it though...damn I knew I forgot something. Need to smoke a little less of this AK47...or not

No misting. Give the little buggers what they need and they won't have to set roots to get it. I say fuck em, make the little bitches work for their water. "You want some water bitch? Pop some roots and you can have all you want"...works every time. You need to let them know who's boss:mrgreen:

Plus they don't need it...

After they all pop roots you can start giving a them a little nutes. I start with 500PPM.

Keep up the great work bro!

I got back from vacation yesterday.

I'm seeing some interesting results from the CO2. Check out the photos and you can see what I'm talking about.

The buds on the left should be finishing about now but instead they started a new growth cycle and are putting on new flowers! WTF... I'm going to let them go and see how big they get. Check out the Medusa like dreadlocks on the AK47! again WTF...

The biggest change I've noticed is with the new girls on the right. Normally they should be light green and running like a track star. Instead they are staying low and dark green. The stems are a lot thicker and I can notice the plants are more turgid/stiff. The flower sites are really tight with many more pistils than normal. Check out the height difference between the plants on the left and the new plants on the right. CO2 baby!
