RUI: I appreciate all of the security & spam measures!
FYI: This poster has done nothing but provide great info. Just use use google translate to see.
thats fine, but the rules state english speaking only posts as it makes moderating too hard on the rest of the staff, hes aware of that because weve told him that many times. he used to only post in english and recently changed that

The majority of the time he posts, he deletes it himself anyways with the note "who cares" which means we have to work double that doing google translate in a separate tab to even be able to read his posts to ensure they are on topic and following tos.

so we waste our time, doing this. we have to read every single thread new threads etc its extra work on us we cant do.

One table was Athena Blended heavy schedule. The other is Botanicare Kind off the bottle instructions.
Thoughts on the basic botanicare kind line? Any additives? I am considering using kind 3 part only for my next run. Great looking plants

They say the last 3 weeks of flower. I’ve ran them all different ways with 4 lights and never noticed a difference in the end.

Hello everyone, long time no visit. Update on the geeklight geekbeast pro and the 240 and 320 monster boards.
It's well over a year now since I bought the lights and I'm still growing with them.
I have not had one issue with any of the lights and afaik there is not one dud or dimmed led on any of them. The Bluetooth and wireless controls work well still, I've not once had to reset or reboot the lights to re link them to the phone.

All in all, they have been a great purchase, wish I had room to run more

I know this is old but is anybody still using this light having problems? Like cracked ends, not being able to link lights to WiFi anymore! Site down.

Yes sir, end bar has failed on mine. Not cool
Can you conect to WiFi. The light strip went out, or the plastic ends broke. I’ve tried and tried to get a hold of them and they’re not getting back so I guess they’re out of business. So there goes the warranty to..
so yeah, that really sucks. Guess we can part them out or something.

They posted regularly on ig until December last year. Guess theyre out. With the china dealers you kinda have to expect no actionable warranty. Maybe the legacy ones like meijiu and kingbrite cause theyve been doing this for many years but not the new ones. A lot of excess capacity and exporting companies going under in china iiuc

Yea I figured they would be around longer tho. Did have nice qbs. Then these with plastic parts was showing true Chinese quality. Guess I’m just going to rewire mine so at least have a dimmer and 3d print a couple ends that broke. Not a total loss but damn near. Would be nice to be able to flash those WiFi modules to work with another software. Thanks for your reply back.

If anybody has these or the plus lights that are broke and want to sell parts or whole please let me know. Thanks.

Sorry, that really blows! There's a lot of shake out in the horticultural lighting business these days. Hope you can cobble some used lights together and keep them running if you can.

Sure does. But I’ll make the best out of them till diodes go out. At least have a couple nice drivers and profiles. They where trials anyway. Just sucks they went undef so fast. Take care.

if theyre ESP based, which i guess, you can consider seting up a homeassistant enviroment and try to flash your module with the help of a USB UART adapter with ESPHOME, if you just need some PWM outputs it could work out.

Hello guys
I've not been on here in a while, I stopped growing around Christmas 2022, so I haven't used the lights since.
I went to download the app today and it's gone off play store.
Now I've just read in the posts above that geekbeast have closed and the app doesn't work anymore.
This is shit, I have all my lights and no way of turning the damn things on.
Does anyone know of a way to add a manual dimmer to the drivers, or will I need new drivers.
I'm an absolute tech noob, so I doubt id be able to flash the module or whatever other things have been advised. I'm gutted.
I can't believe the app doesn't work for those that still have it

To answer my own question, I've just checked on the drivers and they have the small dimmer screw, so I can at least dim the lights and turn them on using a mechanical timer.

Fuck me, what happened to the good old days. A ballast and hps could be in a box for ten years and you could unpack it, plug it in and it'd light up.

Not anymore, some company in china goes tits up and my bought and paid for item doesn't work anymore.

Ridiculous
