still a noob

i never finish a grow yet but i had 2 females yesterday so far on day 45 out of 7 plants and its growin in soil and im plannin to clone them for my hydro that i made today and its still getto lookin anywayz i have ph down and my tap water say its 8.2 or whatever right? well i just had to put 10 ml of ph down to bring it down to 6.8 and on the box it say a few drops but 10 ml is not a drop .note that i have 38L in the tub, is that nomal? im just gettin rdy until for my 1st hydro even tho i never finish my soil grow yet lol

That all sounds pretty normal to me. pH Down products come in different concentrations and mixes, you must add whatever it takes to get to the meter reading that you want.
