Sticky hands after manicure

I used to use lots of different methods of cleaning my hands after manicuring the bud but recently, I started using Extra Virgin Coconut Oil after bringing a bottle of the stuff back from Thailand. It's really great and you only need a couple of little dolleps. Work it through the fingers for a few seconds and then rinse, then use your regular washing liquid or whatever and viola+ My hands smell lovely afterwards and not even a faint smell of the weed.

Just wanted to let anyone out there know because I don't like to use gloves and I'm sure that there are others out there there that don't like wearing them either.

I've never used gloves either, if ya have a dog..give him a good scratching and rub down..the dust and dirt on the coat makes balling up the resin really easy..I don't even need to wash my hands with soap after I hit the dogs coat..plain water and its all gone.

I've found that blotting your finger tips together for a few minutes helps the resin group together. After you do that just roll your fingertips together and you should be able to get a nice ball of finger hash. It makes your finger tips a little raw, but I think it's worth it.

I use gloves and keep a shotglass of ISO handy to dunk my fingertips when they get sticky, also good for rinsing the scissors...Once the ISO starts to look like it has some goodies built up I pour it through some 25micron ss mesh and evap..

Hun that's finger hash! If you wear gloves put in the freezer when your done & allll those delicious trichs will freeze up & pop right off. And have fun with it too!

oh I get the hash off my hands and scissors during and after trimming too :D but I hadn't ever seen any info on cleaning hands after trimming though so I thought I'd share my exp. I guess the degreaser that mechanics use to clean their hands would do the same thing too but the coconut oil I use smells lovely.

I trim using gloves and I notice I have far less resin on the gloves than I would have on my fingers when I didn't wear gloves. That tells me that you should lose less trichs when you wear gloves, probably due to the oil on your fingers that will help 'dissolve' trichs.

Never done it yet, waiting a few weeks left for first grow to finish, but goop hand cleaner should work. It gets everything else off.
