ok i got a start on the home made cooling.lol
pretty basic. i had these gelled ice packs that last about 10 hour in 80 to 90 degrees in this cooler. so i got stoned and creative today.

started with a basic small cooler. if this works i will be doing this on a larger scale.

i will be mounting a small pc fan in one end. so i cut with a hole saw around the size of the fan.

next is a shot of the finished hole and the fan with 12 volt speed control.

next is the fan mounted with just duct tape for now. if it works i will silicone it in there for a good seal.
those are the ice packs i will use for this one.

this is inside the cooler with the ice in it. i will mount one on one side and the other on the other side to make the air sirculate more to cool it longer. like a baffle.
that is all i got done today and my drill battery is dead so i will continue this tomorrow.

genious ... fucking genious! let us know how it works!
as my growroom is big enough i dont need them but im planing to grow in closet someday.

lol my box is getting too hot as of now... like almost 90deg. i might have to use your idea if a bigger fan doesnt cool it down enough

i used a chateau model ac500. output voltage is: 3, through to 9, and 12 volt dc. 500mA
the voltage changer is basicaly my fan speed. there are 2 wire on the charger and 2 on the fan hook them together and plug it in.the wiring will only work one way.
