Stem's turning purple. What deficiency is this, if any?

Noticed some purpling of my stems a week or so back. Now I am not sure if it's something in it's genetics or a deficiency. Cannot find ANYTHING relating to purple stems while everything else looks fine.

So what is this? I sprayed a LIGHT dose of Epsom Salt VIA foliage 15 minutes ago... Soil PH is unknown but could be acidic. Water PH is 6.5

I've had it happen, doesn't seem to be an issue. However spraying your plant and nuting the shit out of it will probably cause one.

Ahh noted. So then I will just continue my regular feeding schedule then :)

If anyone else has comments i'd love to hear them. Having a purple strain (which is what it is looking like) would give me a very interesting harvest. 2 Sativa dominant hybrids, one purple, and an indica :P

ease up on the p & k, espically if the stalk starts to get purple stripes. But yeah, they'll be just fine

My next fert date is August 4'th. Think I should just stick to plain water for now and see if the purpling goes away?

You could always do that but the stem coloring is here to stay. The goal would be to not let any new growth turn that color, or have the stripes travel any farther up the stalk than they already have. Hit em with all the N CA MG Z FE you like, just ease up on the p-k. Flushing first never hurts, but that's ultimately your call. If it was a genetic trait (like da purps, grape ape, etc) it would be noticed on the flowers twoards the end of the cycle... Good luck to you!
