stem strength???

a plant yielding 2 ounces dry weight weighs a little over half a pound pre-drying (280g) right? given it loses 80% of its weight..

so I was wondering how much weight could the main stem carry without breaking if it grew to the side towards a hanging bulb.. like in the coloseum or rotary grows like the omega garden?

2 ounces is 56g. 280g is about 10oz.

Anyway, don't worry about it. As long as the plant has to support that weight itself it will reinforce the stems itself.

how much would you say it would lose.. have you ever tried to weigh a single bud and then dry it and weigh it again??

I never tried to weigh a single bud, that is like weighing millet grain by grain. I don't know how much it loses, it different every time anyway, but it is not 80%. It is unfeasible.

Jorge Cerventes says once its loses 75% of its weight, it is dried and ready for curing.

I think he means when it reaches 75% of its wet weight. 75% is a tremendous amount of water weight for such a dry growing plant.

PlasmaRadio your just talking out of your ass, no offence.. first of all cucumbers are 95% water, fdd is the grandmaster but jorge is no amateur so I'd say its safe to say that the range is somewhere around 70-75% give or take a few.. and thats not that far from 80%.. retardation was a bit harsh..
