Is this salvageable? Forgot to dial back my watering to 2x a day and just noticed it. The top is still green and there are roots coming out of the bottom. What should i do?

Holy shit. Never seen that before.. lol. I would find some way to brace it, unless you've already got it trained in a scrog. Try to get that rockwool to dry out, looks like there's algae growing on it. As long as the top holds vigor I would say that it will heal itself or at least scab over.

What kind of system are you in?
 
Btw, that advice is a shot in the dark.. That stem looks like shit, she might not make it, but it's always worth a shot as long as it's still alive.
 
Yeah, me either. I cut the watering from 3x to 2x a day. I uprighted and it seems to be fine structurally, but its like that all the way around. Like i said the leaves are green and the plant has the biggest fan leaves of the bunch. Thats why it surprised me to see the damage
 
You need about 3 nodes on a branch, check out some youtube vids.

An alternative is to stack some more hydraton in the bag and hope it turns into part of the rootball.

clones it is

or you can graft if you've done that before

any weed scion is good

maybe to an aero cloner

but clones is best

check your venting from now on
