stem folded over

i recently move a super silver haze plant outside after vegging it under cfl for a while. i didn't trellis it so of course when i checked on it today, it was folded in half and the leaves were super wilted. it was dark green at the wound so it doesn't look like any fungi have entered the plant yet. i assumed that a splint and some watering is in order to get some circulation going again. is it possible for a plant to recover from this type of damage or is my baby doomed?

how bad it is depends on the severity of the break but im sure it will live, just wrap some gauze around the wound and then put tape over that to keep it in 1 piece and tie it so its in its natural position that it was b4. in a week or two it should be all healed up and ready for you to take the tape off(thats why you use the gauze, so you can cut the tape and then just unwrap the gauze. instead of trying to peel off the tape and risking re-wounding it.
