Hey man! back after a while off... Starting up my new grow middle of march'ish.
One think I learnt about Pineapple express is they are very nutrient tolerant and like a LOT of nitrogen (I was feeding mine double strength Miracle Gro after 2 weeks) also a general thing growing multiple strains is just a bit of a headache cos all those bitches like different things
my only experience of hydro I'm afraid are hempy buckets and I just went with it, never checked PPM nor PH and they grew big and fast
I would also say about your switching to 12/12 (in case you haven't already) just flip the lights and top up with water to start with, then gently introduce the bloom nutes to avoid any accidental burning or just change the res completely to a low/medium PPM bloom nute solution. Just my opinion

yeah man not too shabby just been keeping my head down, lol
found a shiny new place, moving out come march/april time.
Learnt from my mistakes, got a bit greedy last time setting up a veg and clone room taking up too much space, gonna keep it low key doing a 3 or 4 plant ScrOG this time, CFL/LED with pineapple express and super lemon haze, just cos I didn't get to finish the last ones
And well done on the 2 ounces just from that LED! pretty good result, was it quite strong/frosty?
just make sure you put a lock and decent smell prevention in that 600w 'drobe cos the heat makes them smell worse... well not worse but more.. and by more i mean better XD

How did it all pan out with the landlord? He didnt kick up a fuss after he found it did he?
You moving closer in or further away now fella?
And yea, 2.oz, i was shocked. It was frosty as fuck, got me so lick up its unbelievable!
If you watch the video you will see the small lock on it.
Its still a work in progress, which i will resume once this lot gets harvested. Need to see if the amount of space inside if enough.
If it is i am going to somehow fully lightproof and seal the flower chamber. White tape & foam draught excluder wherever there is an overlapping joint, like the front!
Even with a lock you can hear that there are fans on inside and a humming sound from the pumps.
If i have a tv on you wouldnt know its on, you gotta be listening for the noise, and unless you grow yourself you wont know what the noise is.
Carbon filter so dont have smell, but when i open the door it does whaft of hi-grade already! sweet!

Quick little photo update so you can all see how theyve come along!
I am pretty dissapointed with the growth from the Waterfarms, was expecting it to be quite big. But alas, it is not, Soil is winning. Haha.
I have noticed to white pistils on my Smile =D!!! FEMALE!
I am so pleased about it, but very much confused, im still on 18/6...Why is it showing pistils???
I have also started to train the Smile & Kush, with the PE to follow tomorrow.
I have decided to also trim away away about 3-4 nodes worth of fan leaves below the screen to get some light to the new heads that should start shooting up any day now.
I estimate to flip to 12/12 in the next week or two when screen is 3/4 full.
This all depends on how long the waterfarms will take...
I may need to top the plants but thats something i would rather avoid for this grow as i feel i have left it a little too late.
Anybody got some input of critisism?

Was writing a long spill about how my buddy came to find this out but it got erased, so I'm going to KISS it. Try some beneficial fungi and bacteria, helped him tremendously. He went through the first 12-15 days with almost no growth and looking sickly he says, introduced some Great White into the mix and about 8-9 days later they were ten times the size. Still corrects ph everyday but that doesn't slow the growth. Maybe one of the reasons Scotty gets such amazing growth is because he doesn't do much in the area of sanitizing his hydroton after each grow, so when he puts in his next seedling the beneficial microbial are flourishing. Just a theory...

That screen is filling fast!!!
...But the waterfarms are nowhere near! I can say they have more or less the same amount of nodes, just much much shorter. Maybe due to not being directly under the light, im not sure. Ive angled it a bit more towards the PE tonight and will direct it at the BW tomorrow.

hey there buddy great video and also the little comments top it off, nicely done! as for the leaves most of it seem to be nute burn as well i will try and elaborate

Tdooda your plants in the middle are getting direct light from the CMH while the ones on the outside are getting indirect light or reflective light.. if you had a light meter you would see a monster difrence in lumens... you have way to many plants in that space and they are fighting each other for the light.. and ofcourse the ones that get the most energy are going to win everytime..
Also if they are difrent strains thats also a problem..

Pineapple Express has 750ppm and 5.8ph and has had about 2.5litres of water to drink in the last 3 days.
Blue Widow is the same but has had only 1.25lites to drink in the same time.
The leaves on ALL the plants are a nice healthy dark green!
All the fan leaves i have been cutting off at the nodes have been dark green with no burning on the tips.
Please watch in HD as the iPhone4 camera makes things look a little lighter and yellow then usual but trust me, theyre not!
