Stealth vs regular shipping

Hi all kinda taking a little poll. Yes the stealth shipping method hides your beans but it's going in a bigger package and I've read bigger packages coming from areas that beans ship into the states are much more likely to be search. Like they know it's coming in a mug so any mug they're gonna check out.

Now with regular shipping nothing is hidden but it's just in a regular envelope correct? This seems to me (and I've read on here and other forums safer bc it's just a piece of mail that the computer sorts) the safest easiest way.

Can you guys give some input from experience. It's between herbies and attitude. Herbies price seems a little better. I found one bank that ships in a sealed DVD case with a DVD I would jump on this but the price was redic and the variety was super small

I always pay for stealth just to get replacements in the event of a seizure. But Ace sent me replacements (a very nice gesture, they didn't have to) in a plain letter padded envelope. Arrived much faster than a package, and had no problems. I don't care for breeder packs anyways, so I'm much more content with either small tubes or baggies just thrown in an envelope.

Yeah I love replacement thing but I'm trying to avoid the whole having to get replaced thing lol I only have one address I can use and don't want it going into "the system" I guess I'm gonna call herbies see if I can pay for the stealth insurance but to still ship it regular. Hoping a few peeps can chime in on there shipping ways. This is east coast US customs

I prefer to keep my beans in there original packaging and always use stealth shipping. I've found that a T-Shirt with the stealth shipping. Never had any problems. But I've always gotten my gear from the the Attitude. So....

Eh, don't worry about being in the system. While I have an unbelievably lucky streak of none of my countless orders being snagged, I've had other stuff snagged and I'm still here... for now!

It's really a crap shoot, the question being is customs in the mood to do their jobs lol

Why is it just either attitude or herbies? cannazon has good stealth and doesn't charge extra.

I believe it's probably because when someone finds a good seed source, they just seem to stick with them. I had a few issues with the Attitude, but they've always made it right. Once they shipped me the wrong seed and once I informed them, they quickly corrected it with the proper seed and got to keep the seed they sent me . That's the main reason I like to my seed in there breeders pac and why I continue to use the Attitude. But that's a good question Hydoburn.

That's a good point for wanting packaging. If it wasn't for our draconian laws, I wouldn't care and welcome it, but tubes and baggies are so much easier to hide and stash that bulky sealed cardboard packaging makes the customs job easier, and our shipping more expensive

Thanks for all the input guys. I've never needed to order but I have no one to grab a clone from and it's been my goal to have at least 2 different strains going. A one hittaquita for lazy movies and bed time and a nice day time sativa dom.

I picked attitude and herbies bc I know someone that used attitude and after reading for months before getting ready to order seen that they a lot of there orders where getting siezed in chi-town customs. Seemed that herbies all went through. From the reviews both have the best customer service. But feel free if someone's got a better supplier full me in. So redic that this has to be so difficult and we still have to hide in the shadows

Let us know who you ordered from and how long it took to get them. Personally, I'd be interested to see how it goes for ya. If ordering from the Attitude, they removed there T-Shits from the stealthy ordering form. But I just emailed them the other day and here's what I wrote them:
"Hi, I was just looking over your stealth shipping items and realized that the T-Shirt option was gone. Is there any way to get that back into the stealth shipping area? It was the best method, IMO, for my shipping area.

Hey just had some recent experience with both the Hshop and mug&t-shirt place. Mug&t-shirt place "stealth" got snagged. Hshop came thru twice without fail. Me thinks it's more to do with registration/tracking than stealthiness hint hint

I'm pretty sure there is a database and customs has an idea of what to look for. Every package and letter is scanned (addressee from a dress sent), no reason to believe they don't have an idea how stealth shipping works. Hence my support for simple letter, they fly through customs

I deff will keep you guys posted. Gonna hopefully pull the trigger after work. Hopefully I can get them on the phone. So the herbie you just used regular mail.

Thinking I'm gonna just go regular mail hoping I can talk to them, I don't want any tracking seems tracking gets snagged. Def thanks for letting me know about Att n the mug

I paid a little extra for stealth/registered but Herby was on the ball and gave me a heads up about the situation in my area and told me regular was the way to go and it came through all good.

Mug&t-shirt guys were behind the 8-ball on this and preferred to send me a registered package that got snagged and then suggested to go regular. I was like wtf why didn't you suggest beforehand (so my addy wasn't compromised) if you already knew this ? Needless to say I won't be dealing with them again!

Go herbies you wont regret it.3 orders in 6 months all sent the same way all came through.
Very small tiny package but if I told you how they package them its not stealth is it ?
Its not in something customs are looking for that might have seeds in it like a mug or a shirt thats for sure.

And thats what herbies do you pay for stealth but its sent regular and it works ...who gives a fuck if its an extra $12 so long as the seeds get to you safely......

Im not trying to sell herbies either but if u respond by email they always answer withing 24 hrs and ive even told them to hold free seeds and change for something different and they did.

Thanks for the replys.after talking on the phone with him about shipping went super stealth registered, dude told me I should be totally fine where I am. He did agree that larger packages with tracking are getting snagged more but for my location I should be totally fine... And I requested it be sent in the smallest possible package So I guess now is the waiting game.

I went with DNA holy grail, female white x bb, Female c99, Barney's pinapple chunk and got a free super silver haze and 2 reg skunk. The holy grail was the pricest.
What do you guys think of my picks? Been hearing really good things about female seeds and DNA of course I can't believe the price of some of these beans

I grew out HGK and it wasn't anything to write home about. Only grew a couple of beans, but it wasn't bad, I just wanted more from it.

Is the SSH Mr. Nice? Should be something fun there to grow. Haven't bought from Nice yet, but if I do SSH or Spice will be what I pick.
