I dont want to hijack your thread with posting of pics of my set up, I am gathering final parts for my wardrobe cabinet, I will start a thread just for the set up and grow for all to check out, I hope to be ready to germinate the seed by mid Jan, how about a new pic of your scrog, I am so looking forward to seeing your buds under that LED, mostly because I am going to use a mars 300 watt led in mine , I hope you get those snowy white tops on your buds!

startin to look frosty
Starting to frost nicely, the lighting really doesn't do it justice. Had a heat spike earlier it's almost 60 outside and we had the heat on. I have a spike least once a week. I'd like to move it to the basement
Where it's a nice 50ish. But my son moved back in a few weeks ago.:wall: I have a 180 cfm squirrel blower hook to the cab with speed controller. But I got it set nice med low, and don't like touchin it if I can help it.

I hear you man. I have a vortex (used) on the way to me, $70 bucks for a 6",,, and I purchased a 14" long 6" carbon filter for it, and I have a variac speed controller , the variac's have really come down in price, so I really really really hope I can slow that vortex way down to run around 100 cfm and be quiet as a mouse,, we will see, but I have to keep it quiet from everyone else in the house also

in response to the frosty buds, Yay, I have seen pictures of buds grown under led's that have this snow cap on the tops where the tri chromes just seem to go balistic, and they look like a snow capped mountain, I sure hope yours turn out like this,

do you have a loupe or a magnifying glass to check trichromes for milky or amber color changing for harvest times?

I'm 9 days in so far , started my count on the 7th. Got alot of weeks left to go.. Being as this is my 1st scrog, it's a few thing's that I could've done better that I will take into account with round two. More updates coming soon.
Nice grow! Your plant looks healthy, short, and bushy, and that scrog looks effective to me. What will you do different on your scrog next time?

How much height is your cabinet? Could you maybe upload a picture that captures your whole cab with the plant in it? The reason I ask is because I'm converting my bearded dragon's old enclosure to a grow cabinet right now with a height of 24". I could easily veg a few plants in if kept horizontal, but didn't think I would be able to flower in it, but your grow is inspiring me to try. Here's a couple of pictures of what I'm working with, and if you could maybe give your thoughts on what I should do, I would appreciate it.

Horizontally like the picture below, I have 13.5" from the top of the 3 gallon pot to the ceiling of the enclosure. I will be using all cfls for this grow, but plan on getting led in a couple months from now.

If I flip the cabinet vertically, I would have a little over 24" from the top of the 3 gallon pot to the ceiling of the enclosure.

Thanks in advance!:bigjoint:

Thanks BGO, well from the pic you have. I would leave it flat and run a two pot setup max, scrog Is more width than height .Upright would basically get you i dont know your measures but will get you bout a foot and some change wide worth of buds. Leave it flat and crank that field of dreams two feet plus wide field of bud. My dimensions are 24"h x17"w x20"d. I'm going to train better next run "precaution", it's alot of empty spots that are a no-no since I see how the scrog works.

I expected a bit more stretch that didn't happen that's why their empty. I will have the quality but far as the quantity I dont see it this run, and i'm 7 weeks out. If you have light hitting the floor of your cab weather you scrog or not is wasted space and yield.

I'm just gonna ride it out it's gonna be everything I expect. I miss the bigger grows, new home smaller space, and a shit load of equipment I cant use. :peace:
