Stealth PC grow help

OK im in the process of making a stealth PC grow box. The case im working with is 15"long x 8wide x 15" tall. Its got two fans( from when this was an ordinary computer. i hot glued the faceplates back onto the front of the case so it looks normal, and i mylar'd the inside of the box. Im just curious on what watts cfls i should put in here and where i can find them? im kinda scared since my case isnt huge the lights wont fit. Also should i hang lights straight down from the top with a power strip or should i put the power strip on the side so plants can grow taller? I plan on starting maybe 3 plants, in hopes that at least one will be female. All positive feedback is appreciated, but please dont come in here to argue why i shouldnt do a PC grow. Ive searched all through here but i havent really seen any start to finish guide for PC grows that show from box setup to harvest. And what yields more, SCROG or LSTing? thanks everyone

I would just get the 23 watt, 100 watt replacements, or the 13 watt ones, most PC grows i have seen had a fan going, you got one wired up?

unless the bagseed you got is from pure stress, schwag, bricc whatever weed you wanna call it, if you treat the plant good with no problems, you can get a female.

you gonna have to TOPP, LST, and probably SCROG to keep things in checc

as for the lights just go to Lowes Home Depot anywhere, alot of places have CFLS

preciate the help loc. yea its got two fans, and ive got two old phone chargers im gonna wire em to but the prob is my fans are 12v and these are only 9v. can i do my whole grow with the 23w's from home depot? i plan on maybe vegging for a week then going straight to 12/12. ive got a timer already. am i missing anything? tomorrow ill check out some lights and try and get this thing up and running.

i think you need a 12v to power the fans, look at that CFL tutorial, you need certain spectrum's for vegging and flowering, vegging DAY LIGHT bulbs, and flowering SOFT WHITE

you just need to figure on how to get the lights up there, you can take a power strip and get those individual CFL sockets and glue it on top or something

the lower volts will power the fans but they just dont work as hard. should i hook the fans up on the timer too or should i keep fans running even when the lights are off?

Prob just have them on with the lights to keep the cab cool

you can hot glue a power stip on top of the PC, and just stack some book or something, and lower the plants from the lights

realistically im only lookin to get at least half an ounce of some bomb personal stash. how many lights do i need in there? iv got a small 6 socket power strip im gonna put in there to plug lights into

i would just just try and get as much as you can in there with good temps, then figure out how many plants, a harvest is a harvest to me, you gotta start somewhere

ok when i hook the fans up to the power adapter i got from my old phone, do i need a seperate power adapter per fan or can i wire em up together? will it divide the power each of them get?

man this shit is makin me think its more trouble than its worth. i got two 42 watt soft white cfls from home depot, and a thermometer. after hookin everything up, i put everything in there and closed it up. mofo was like 94degrees inside of there. do i need more fans or smaller lights? remember the case is 15x8x15. Also ive got two 12v fans running off of a 9v adapter. will getting a stronger(or another) adapter make the fans turn faster?

Get the 23 watters man, DAY LIGHT for vegging, then use those to flower with.

you should have the ait being sucked out up by the lights, that should cool then have the cool air come up from the bottom

i was gonna only veg for about a week or less. then 12/12 til harvest. if i get smaller lights will it be cooler? cant grow a plant in there if its 90+degrees

yea smaller wattage it should be cooler,

i have done a computer grow i had 3 100 watt lights CFL that is.. but that was awsome grow just remember more light the better off you are

oh yeah and another thing you should have 2 fans one at the top blowing out and one at the bottom blowing in helps keep fresh air in the box and keep temps down

ok ive got 3 fans in there now but it seems like it still is too hot. either that or the thermometer im using is busted. can anyone recommend what light i can fit in there without the box getting hot as fuck?

did you get the 23 watters yet? try those, 3 fans should work unless there not blowing that hard
