Stealth Closet Perpetual OG Kush

Finally added the Mylar to the wardrobe, have the heat mostly under control, and have identified what I think is a magnesium deficiency. I flushed with 1/2 strength nutrients, ph at 7.0, and adjusted the branches on both plants for a more even canopy.

They're liking the 12/12 cycle, and seem to be filling out their previously bare centers very well.

No signs of sex yet, though they're feminized seeds so I'm not too worried.

The lights are not that far away, I had raised them while working to get a more even canopy.

They're looking great and very healthy, and one hell of a setup. Are they all the same strain? And are they going to get too tall?

Yeah, thanks! Im having a magnesium deficiency i think, but i should have that under control now. I've noticed the FFOF soil i have gotten locks out nutrients when i repot.

I only have OG Kush. Bought from ILGM (was kind of expensive).

They will stretch I'm sure but i can raise the lights another 2 feet, but i try to keep them as close as possible to the canopy.

Once again having a tough time falling asleep, so I'm updating this...again.

Plants are 7 weeks today, since beginning germ.

Spent a few minutes adjusting the tie downs for a more even and optimized canopy (so I could lower my lights a couple inches). They have responded really well to the flush and have began their 12/12 stretch. They probably grew an inch today, and the foliage has filled more than I thought it would.

The clones are really taking off, I'll have to repot them soon. I'm thinking the next run I may do 4 smaller plants so I can try multiple techniques at the same time.

I'm loving looking at these every day. Such a beautiful plant. Can't believe how thick the base is, about 11/16" (17mm).

Since @tjbaba added a nice stalk photo in his journal update, I've included one here, too.

This is just the plant on the left (which I like more than the other one currently).

Not a great yielder but you want be disappointed in the smoke ILGMS. OG is pretty good.

I guess they claim its an average yeild, but I like that they claimed a shorter flowering period, short plant height, and good potency.

Used to be one of my favorites smokes back in the day, so I am excited to see how it is home grown. :)

Yea ... Definitely average yielder you can take it at 7 weeks but if you let it go another week or two it'll add on some density.

Awesome, I certainly don't want to be taking it too early. While quality is very important to me, I don't want to sacrifice volume unnecessarily.

Yeah, TJ, the canopy is pretty thick! It looks awesome in person. So many bud sites!

I'm 22 days past the 55 recommended days of the ilgm og kush and the one I topped once finally has thicker colas and will be harvested at the end of the week. The one I topped twice still isn't where I want it to be so she'll be going until I'm satisfied or she's 50/50 cloudy/amber. Also, the bud structure is noticeably different on the one I topped twice. The hairs never stood straight up on it either. They are hugged up against the bud. Yours are looking good!

Interesting, what's different about the structure? I did top twice, so hopefully I don't come to regret that!

Thanks for the compliment! Glad to hear they look ok! Just saw the first pistils the other day so it looks like it's good to go. Today is day 6 of flower. Really anxious to see some actual development.

The bud is smaller and not as swollen nor as green as the one topped once. You shouldn't worry though, I can't figure out exactly why, so the run after my next one, I'll pop two more and try it again. I'll be taking pictures at harvest time for my pic/vid log so I'll show you my final product side by side and the weight each plant produced.

How do i find your video log? Id be really interested to check it out. I'm certainly up for seeing your photo/video/numbers when you get to that point, which ill have to compare to mine later on.

I'm actually cataloging my pictures and videos now since I'm very close to harvesting all the ladies and preparing for the next run. I'll be posting pictures after I harvest and I'm gonna start a YouTube channel to connect with other grower's and learn as much as possible while passing on knowledge as well. I have over 1600 pictures and 15 to 20 videos. Had to buy a 3 tb hard drive strictly for my grow log. Can't wait to look at these pictures this time next year and see my progress. I'm also going to start a journal next year for my new crew. I'll be breeding, hopefully.

Awesome. I, personally, won't use YouTube to post anything of mine, mostly to help retain anonymity. I'll happily watch other's content though. I'll be on the lookout for your post.

Oh its mostly just my paranoia! I don't want my face, voice, or home in the videos, you know? Just a personal preference. I have a few job and volunteer positions that put me in front of hundreds of people who i see on a very regular basis. I don't particularly want to be recognized in the rare situation one of them comes across it. It took a long time browsing the forums here before i posted, out of paranoia. Haha

However you decide to post anything, like i said, ill certainly check it out.

So I've done a few things lately. I accidentally broke off a branch from a plant, so I just turned it into a clone. Hopefully no harm done. I did, however, have a light fall on a clone and burn the shit out of it, but I trimmed it up, and am just going to let it bounce back.

I had 2 clones in the same cup, since they were just little cuttings that I never expected to make it, but both pulled through, so they each have their own cup now... Yay.

I've seen the first pistils (all over at the same time), further evened out the canopy, raised lights to account for the stretching that is going on, and started a small experament.

I have a very healthy clone, I made a magnetic cup holder for the solo cup it is in, and stuck it to the wall in the canopy. I'm going to let it go all the way to harvest in the solo cup and see if the yield from the solo cup per space outweighs the yield per space from the larger plants. If it does, I may switch over to a 2 tiered SOG in the near future. I would use a pot larger than a solo cup for a SOG, but this will give me an idea of if it is worth looking into.

Plants all look healthy and happy to my eye. Now that I have established everything, I'll quit adding updates so often, and keep it more reasonable. :)

Those are some long roots for such young plants! Maybe i need to use bigger pots lol.. but man i cant wait until those crystals start forming. How is the smell so far?

Long roots on those twin clones? Those were just in a solo cup for a week or 2, how small of a pot are you using? Haha

So far the smell in the flowering cabinet is just as i had hoped for. It has a hint of sweetness/citrus, the overwhelming majority is a satisfying, though mild, skunk scent. Most of the time i remove foliage, i rub it between my fingers and give it a smell.
