Dont really know what to say, im stunned and oh so very proud! But theres a lot of time to go. Added my first dose of advanced bloom nutes to my regular flowering nutes today. Still no signs of sex from the Rhino or Skunk, but they are loving the new side lighting.

Nice looking setup duder. Tell me how does 12-12 from seed work for you, I was just thinking about it myself, already planning my next grow and given the problems im now facing early in flowering (namely the fact that my girls are too fucking big) I think I need to compact my work a little and remove some clutter from the box. For the sake of stealth ive tried to mount everything inside but its all taking up too much real estate.
Also I definately veg'ed too long, I was trying to let the two younger plants catch up a little but now that the snow is hitting the ceiling and having to be tied in some outlandish positions, I got home from an all day shift earlier in the week to find one of my main tops fried and crispy, honestly could have cried. It was a healthy big cluster so whats left of it should bounce back.Unfortunate but we live and learn I guess, (maybe that one just couldnt wait to get smoked LOL) I realise now I should have switched her probably 2 weeks earlier.

More pics soon, peace.

Just for reference if anyone cares, at this point the Snow is 88 days from seed, the Rhino and Skunk only 49. Bearing in mind that for around 2 weeks of veg the Snow did nothing but look like it was going to die.

This is the crown of a cola forming at the top of the White Rhino

The rest are taken at various jaunty angles around the snow.

Yeah, I had the same problem on my first grow in the closet, vegged for a month, woulda been fine if it was just one plant but I want to have 3 in different stages going at all times not to mention cfling a big plant was frustrating, just didnt have enough of the lights to get close to everything. Smaller plants, reflective surfaces, and 4 cfls mounted above has been good to me so far. Keep up the good work.

Hawaiian Snow, White Rhino, Lemon Skunk Day 39 Flowering

ok, so just 1 pic today as im a lazy arsehole and pretty busy at work recently. This ones a little bigger as I left the file in hi-def (I think this one deserves it). Maintanence day tomorrow so more pics to come.

Day 39 Flower.jpg

To give you an idea of the rate of growth, Im pretty sure these 2 beauties are the same as the second picture in the previous post. Right now they are about the size of a large thumb, and thats small compared to some of the others! As you can see Im beginning to see some yellowing of fan leaves, but its fairly minimal so far. Any suggestions on how to combat this? or if I should be worried at all? Other than this, the plants all look nice and healthy, starting to smell a little, but not too much to bother me. Its actually a glorious sweet smell.

See y'all soon, Peace!

Hawaiian Snow, White Rhino, Lemon Skunk Day 43 Flowering

Few more pics today, added another 65 cfl for side lighting this afternoon bringing me up to 370w in total. The weight of the buds and the stretchiness of the plant are making it increasingly harder to get her in and out of the box, without the support of the walls many branches just droop quite dramatically. Not an issue, just means I need to be ever so careful when changing the res. Seeing more and more brown hairs every day, but still some time to wait. Im estimating another 2 to 3 weeks of flowering followed by a week to flush. With luck ill be cut and dried in time for christmas!

On a slightly different note im gonna throw up a couple of pics of my new window farm, constructed simply from an aquarium air pump, some tubing and recycled plastic bottles. The pump uses air to push a bead of water from the res to the top of each column which drips down, through each grower and back into the res at the bottom.

Unfortunately right now ive only planted it out with chillis, spinach and rocket but maybe one day we can all be propagating our own cuttings or even growing crops openly in our windows! If any one is interested in learning more, check out their site. http://our.windowfarms.org/ here you will find all you need to know, including options to buy as well as detailed instructions on how to build your own. Theres a great community of growers over there promoting sustainability and good, home grown food. Ill be sure to throw up some more pics or even a vid once I start seeing some growth.

And last but not least, preparing for the future.....

i used to think cfls were cheaper till you add up the costs of all the sockets, splitters, cords, bulbs, more bulbs and more bulbs. By the time i was done i could have won a 400 hps bulb and batwing fo $50 bucks, rather then the close to 80 bucks.

BUT i started with cfls and they work great if you are a worker type of bee gardener. You know , checking. Rechecking and moving pots. Keep those lights close, and get an assortment of larger sizes and smaler, and color

Day 58 Flowering

So very close now. Into the 8th week of flowering and I'm ready to cut despite reports of a 12 week flowering period for the hawaiian snow. Roughly half my pistils have or are turning brown, I inspected the trichs today and depending on the bud site they range from transparent to milky with some glowing a nice amber colour. Im itching to get the chop on, talked myself out of doing it today in favour of thursday. Guess im scared of harvesting too early but im fairly certain they need only a few more days at most.

Take a look and tell me what you think?

Ok so lost track of time but I cut these ladies just over a week ago. I think it must have been around day 60 if flower.

Need to replace batteries in my scales and would like to give it at least another week to cure properly so final weight and smoke report to follow, but I will say this much, its fucking good!

Peace.

Ok so, wrapping up, Im all dried and cure not to mention lit ALL the fucking time! Final weight 2 1/2oz from the Hawaiian Snow, 1/2oz from the White Rhino. The Lemon Skunk unfortunately only gave up a few joints worth but I aint complaining.

The Rhino, does not have a very fragrant smell, more grassy and vegetal, has a full flavoured smoke with a nice mouth feel which gives a very nice relaxing high which doesnt impede activity leaving you pleasantly stoned but still able to get your shit done.

The Snow on the other hand, is a fucking MADMAN! Seriously, this sticky shit holds a strong floral aroma and tastes light and fruity. It doesnt really affect your body at all, but that doesnt matter because the strong cereberal high will creep up before you know it and send you to another universe where there is no time and you dont use or even have a body anyway. Probably the best buds Ive had the pleasure to burn and all the better for growing it myself but must be used with caution cause once you light up a J, thats your day pretty much over.
Fantastic sativa dom, high yeild and monster thc and screaming out to be scrog'd, hats off to Greenhouse, I'd recommend this to anyone and will definately be growing it again!

So thanks everyone who came along and helped out along the way. Ive done a little refurb in the cab to tidy shit up and address some of the problems Ive had. New seeds are in and should hopefully be up by the end of the week.
